If her and Travis Kelce split up maybe she could get together with Mikey Lewis, they would bring loads of attention to the sport.

She's 5'10" so I doubt she would want to hang out with a dwarf.

As I said on the IMG thread where this was posted, it's a heck of a coup:

To be fair, they're still leaving open the possibility of playing the Pilot Field, Hastings, as we're a town and not a city.

I'll get on the phone.

I'll leave you to that. I can't stand them as a band but there's no denying they are massive and plenty do like them.

Hull 2 London 6.

Does that make it 6-6 on aggregate now?

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Delighted for Hull KR, but somewhat incredulous that Coldplay have chosen to play at Craven Park.

Feather in their cap to get a gig of this magnitude:

How long as Craven Park been hosting gigs?

Nearly misread. Was going to agree it’s Coldplaying at Craven Park.

Is it as odd as Elton John playing at Widnes?

There are a few similar examples. I saw The Killers in Falkirk a couple of years ago. A much smaller town and a worse stadium than CP.

I probably wouldn't pay to see Coldplay if I'm honest, but there's no doubt it's a massive coup for HKR and the city in general.

It's just really odd because they are doing 6 days at Wembley as well and no where else. Its the extremes that seem most bizarre to me.

I didn't realise that part. Yes that makes it seem a whole lot stranger.

Totally agree. After dates at Craven Park, why would you even bother going to Wembley? Talk about “after the Lord Mayor’s show”. Such a damp squib.

I had a very brief think about this and came to the following conclusion.

Coldplay are green capitalists. They are also British.

Brexit has - whatever your views - made it more of a faff to play mainland Europe and the UK in the same tour on a British passport. Coldplay are very rich. They can pick one or the other. And they have fans who will travel from one to the other.

London is accessible from the continent in a non-fly way by the Eurostar. Hull is accessible in a non-fly way by the ferry.

You could just about argue that both places appeal as they are in Britain and accessible to all UK and Europe fans without the need for flying.

Or, at least, if I were pitching Hull over any other outside London city to a bunch of British green capitalists, that's what I'd go with.
