Listening to the Radio Humberside commentary from my hotel room in Germany. I have to say, the commentators seem to favour one particular side.

Switched to Radio Merseyside for a more balanced view.

Shoves Williams in the face and then turns away instantly like he didn't do anything.

I really think that is a waste of a chat there. We have two teams really hyped and in the moment. All tension and suspense has been dropped because he wanted to tell them how big a game this is.

I do think the ref has an option of being stronger there. Otherwise this game could go all niggle.

We're in the playoffs section of rule applications now, where everything you've been clamping down on all year goes right out the window. Makes for a more entertaining game but my god it's frustrating that we can't just have a single application of the rules across the year.
