I found another poster’s comment in another thread quite funny and very true.

In any era there has always been a “horrible little (or big) scrote” playing which you have hated, yet is absolutely adored by the fans of the club he plays for.

I’m interested in seeing names of all the horrible little scrote’s which have played at your club who you have loved, despite him being despised by every fan of every other club.

Mikey Lewis right now, obviously, in terms of my own team's that we love.

For other clubs, Sam Tomkins and Sean Long stand out in the more recent era in England. I'd say Mick Ennis recently down under.

Josh Reynolds wanted to be this character, but lacked real skill or bite and so was more like an insipid tribute act version, much like someone doing Frank Sinatra on the ferry journey from Hull to Rotterdam on a rainy Thursday night crossing.

Come on people, be honest - before you clicked on this thread, which of our TotalRL posters did you think it was about?

I missed the bit about "for your club". Apologies.

So for Fev, currently Ben Reynolds & Jack Bussey. Reynolds very much plays up to the pantomime villain role and seems to thrive on it. Bussey has a bit of a negative rep (not undeservedly) based on one or two incidents over his career but is actually a really smart player, one of the brightest in the team for many years.

But the absolute all-time standout at Fev in this category has to be Brendon Tuuta. Hero-worshipped to this day by Fev fans, and a tremendous player with a high range of skills, but his, ahem, aggressive tackling technique didn't always endear him to opposition fans.

Playing for other club’s but Long and Briers. Mikey Lewis is now taking that role and who wouldn’t want him in their lineup.

Cesar Rouge?

I thought it was a post of self reflection.

Ben Westwood. I was well aware he was an a-hole. But he was our a-hole. I absolutely loved him.

Shane Cooper.

Not little but I always thought Steve Carter was an horrible so and so in the NRL until he signed for Widnes.

Just because you think everyone hates you doesn't mean they don't.

Those three take some beating. Tommy Ridiculous is the crown prince of scrotes down under.
