I wouldn’t blame him if he was fuming if and when it happens. They keep signing players & then the begging bowls appear. I wouldn’t mind if the begging bowls came out first, coppered up to see what they’ve got & then spent accordingly !

They are spending the lowest the lowest in the league. This situation is slot more complicated then people realise. Only time will tell.

unfortunately Salford have been promised the stadium deal would be done ( it all but is but the legal aspect takes a lot of time)

once that deal is done there’s a lot of sponcers lined up. Until then there’s no actual income in the off season. Was it reckless to hope the deal would be done faster maybe ???? But they’ve not actually spent much on signings

Only time will tell??? This isn't new - this is an annual event.

If they are spending the lowest amount in the league, then they must have, by far, a lower income than some clubs in the Championship - the figures don't add up.

Stop spending money you haven't got - that's not complicated - couldn't be simpler.

I don't even understand this - Salford are definitely not spending the lowest in the league if that is what you are claiming?

You're going to be fuming if they don't even make it to the starting line in 2025.

Of course, it's not the club's fault - it's me, Matt Shaw and some unidentified owners of Yorkshire based clubs.

Defo not Salford's fault.

After London they were last year that’s fact. The squad is top Hevesy but not much depth

You can’t even have a discussion. Your vendetta and stalking of Salford’s page is crazy

More complicated that you seem to be able to understand but you’re not gonna change your stance. So we will see what happens

Stalking??? Lol. Call it research.

Salford fans are in denial.

Complicated?

Buy top players, but can't, and never have, paid the rent. Keep buying top players.

Play fantastic rugby with players you pay for by not paying your rent.

Keep taking "loans" from the local council that you don't repay. Keep taking advances from Central funding to fill the holes.

Keep signing players, even when you know you don't have the finger-in-the-air financial forecasted income.

In future, try this: money out does not exceed money out. Easy.

Of course, that means you will be out of SL.

Vendetta? Obsessed? I've been massively critical of Bulls in the past - they also created their own downfall (with a board and fans in denial), but they have built and restructured.

It's time for Salford to step aside and stop blocking well run progressive clubs with ambition.

If posters have a congenital hatred of Salford Red Devils, just say so, rather than trying to justify it with nonsense.

It's more of a dislike really.  Probably stems from around this time.

Why would anyone hate Salford, or any other club?

Of course, Salford fans' think it's "Yorkshire clubs" doing them ill, and can't accept that their club is a sham.

Sorry - I keep saying Salford "fans" - I do, of course, mean shareholders.

I'm impressed that none of the 1000's of Salford shareholders didn't leak this before the evil Matt Shaw spilled the beans, despite obviously being in the know.

I wonder how many of them have paid off the loan arrangements the club facilitated for them, in order for them to become shareholders?

The fans have been taken for mugs.

Seeing the responses on here and the SRD forum, it's not hard to see how though.

I didn't really understand the deal with that share issue.

Why does it matter which club I support?

How does that affect the realities of Salford's situation?

What's the relevance?

If I support a Lancashire club, is the truth more palatable?

I think some people are genuinely interested where the vitriol is coming from.

What are you on about, "vitriol"??

People aren't making this up and hating on Salford - the club is taking the ###### out of the game!

It's done it for years and continues to do so.

For what it's worth, my club's owner has only been there a short time, so if the "vitriol" is coming from another club, it won't be mine.

Still, the previous owners of my club paid their bills and accepted that meant we were poor on the field.

I know! It's a crazy business model. It'll never catch on!

It means bitter criticism, and I refer to the criticism in your posts.

I'm not sure you can claim that it is a "fact" - It was rumoured that they were spending roughly the same as Cas and not much less than FC.

But unless you have some figures to hand it is all assumptions.

You need to get over it snowflake.

If you run a business in that way, people will criticise.

Bitterness? No. Grow up.

And tell your board to do the same.

What's clear is that you don't like the criticism that is absolutely due to the Salford club.

Whine and deflect all you like, but it ain't going away.

Until the Salford club get honest, you will be called out.

You should change the club name from "Red Devils" to "Emus".

Nothing to see here.
