Mate it clear to everyone your bitter

What makes you think he’s bitter? Every time this issue crops up he posts his opinion on it, I agree with him I just don’t bother to post it as much. What is fact is if certain other clubs had transgressed like this, the thread would be 30 plus pages long with plenty of vitriol thrown in there. There is no story here other than the Salford club can’t manage its outgoings against its incomings but nobody’s bitter.

As my mother used to say "It will all come out in the wash".

They could do with laundering some money from somewhere 👀

I think when you repeat the same thing over and over again to the point where everyone is bored to tears then it becomes more than just stating facts.

I think we all know what their opinion is....repeating it constantly just makes you look a bit weird.

So stop telling us that it's nothing, not your fault, absolutely normal business practice and leave the thread.

Let's be honest, if it wasn't for Salford fans digging in on here, defending the indefensible, this thread would already be dead.

Weirdly you keep coming back telling us it's us being mean & bitter.

Baffling.

If you don't like the thread, don't click in!

Keep your head in the sand.

Dboy is a Trinity fan,  and doesn't hate Salford, neither does Matt Shaw, and John Davidson doesn't hate Featherstone.

I've never heard of him, what's he said about Fev?

One thing that I don't understand is do Salford have a deal to play at a stadium next year or not? In other words, are they currently homeless?

No they have a deal to play there. The current deal is based on ownership and what profits the club/sale will get

That deal ends in a few weeks though, right?

Technically yes but that deal was with peel, who no longer own the ground the council do(almost anyway) Salford are in limbo until there deal is sorted. Apparently it’s all the legal issues taking time.

this is why the club are asking for there share of the money up front. With it being the off-season and the deal taking longer the hoped

So why do they require an advance Peel no longer own the ground and neither does the council according to your post so why is an advance needed?

I think some people are genuinely interested where the vitriol is coming from.

This ^^^^^ 💯 Also interests me as to the driving force behind the obsession?  If it’s a club with money (say Wire/Wigan) that’s one thing, if it’s say a penny pinching club that has spent the absolute minimum possible for 20 years and embarrassed the sport at the top level that’s another?

So from my understanding they have a good few Sponcers and corporate deals ready but they won’t give there money until the stadium is officially owned by the council.

the legal process has taken far longer then they thought. This is why there asking for the money early

Understood but why are they reliant on sponsors for the cash flow sure this seasons income and marketing should cover the day to day running of the club.

Not having a go just trying to understand the situation

Don’t think anyone other than the bored knows exactly what’s going on it’s very in house. From what I understand nearly every club relays on there owners to keep them going in the off season. Salford haven’t got this

The club someone supports is not a qualifier for whether or not they should be able to comment or criticise on something on this forum. To suggest otherwise is absolute nonsense.

Most clubs are usually pretty cash rich at this point, season ticket sales are in full swing and it’s the peak period for merchandise sales with new shirt releases and Xmas approaching. Cashflow issues are usually more of an issue mid season when ST money has run dry and clubs have periods of 3/4 weeks without a home game.

Salford haven’t got there shirt on sale. But it’s well documented the off season is the hard part as the cash flow isn’t there
