flatcapper
well, well, well three weeks ago it was all doom and gloom after the game at Sheffield but look at us now, middle eights on the back of three very good all round team performances. when you look at the middle eights there are three games that are very winnable on our form over the last three games and who knows after that. Robin Evans
What a day. An idiot from kellington made a crippled shoulder even bloody worse. My drive home was just offsetting stroke like blood pressure due to the game... An a performance right up there with some of the best this last 20 yrs. A good glass of pommerol to ease in the evening and reflect on what has been... not least in rovers terms...a nigh on perfect day. Chuffed of Rawmarsh "I love our club, absolutely love it". Trojan
Well as I said last week I missed it. I was in the air between Amsterdam and Leeds when the drama was happening. Landed 4-30, back in car 4-55. Radio Leeds on and they're bleating about Wakey v Cas. Finally found the result and nearly ran off the road! Brilliant. “Few thought him even a starter. There were many who thought themselves smarter. But he ended PM, CH and OM. An Earl and a Knight of the Garter.” Clement Attlee.
saddleworth
A mouth watering, eye watering, blistering performance. They had a massive pack of full timers who could not make any impression down the middle. Simply put, we wanted it, they didn't. Could not select a MOM as it was 100% team effort although there is no doubt that the Leeds contingent have certainly made a difference. Well done to everyone concerned. painkiller
The discipline of the boys was first class the quicker we hit them in the line the more frustrated and desperate bradford became it was which ever way you look at it refereed like a super league game very quick we coped with that better than the bulls credit has to go to the coaches for that i dont like naming individuels after a performance like that but briggs davies and bostock were outstanding it was interesting hearing the bulls fans slagging first the ref, then james lowes for there poor start then rohan smith for not having the experiance at this level and finaly steve ferris for his signings dear oh dear oh dear .....no mention of our superior discipline desire and fitness we proved over the last few weeks we can compete with the best at this level we should have beaten leigh buy who cares for a club that has so often been berrated by other championship supporters for allegedly lording it when powell was here, we have recentley taken our medicene when we have had setbacks but remained together and bided our time waiting for an opportunity to bounce back and my championship colleagues here we are today in the middle 8,s listen the job is far from done but we will enjoy the moment the money we can generate from this will im sure be wisely invested and this could kickstart our return to the top table after being up against it a few weeks ago no one can say we havent earnt it well done to batley they too have shown what spirit and determination can do ....as for the rest enjoy the shield we rose from the dissapointment of not making the 8,s last year to win it so good luck,,,,,

Haha been waiting for a bit of stick but its water off a ducks back its just a bit of banter and Im actually pleased you made the 8's in front of Bradford because I truly believe as the season wore on that you deserved it. It will probably have massive implications for your club financial wise as well and as much as some people probably think I hate Fev Ive actually grown to like you guys as the season as gone on and besides Bradford have taken the pee money wise for years so nice to see someone else get a slice and for them to miss out. Now if you guys could just beat Leigh and maybe a SL team I would be pretty happy and I reckon you can get 6th because I fully expect you to beat both London and Batley the form you are in. Good luck in the 8's.
