Must be at least twenty years between the first and the most recent time I saw them but they're still one of the best live bands around:

I saw Tommy Reilly perform live at a tribute concert to Gordon Jacob, many years ago.

Last night I came across the Motörhead song ‘1916’ for the first time.  Why have I never heard this song before?  Young men volunteering to fight for their country and having no idea of the reality of war.  So incredibly moving.

As an aside I am currently working my way through the top 50 Albums of all time - in term of sales - in the UK in reverse order.  Worked my up, or should that be down, to number 11, Rumours by Fleetwood Mac.

have you ever heard any of the cathead stuff? its basically Lemmy and Slim Jim of the stray cats mixing it up

I’m a big fan of the Fargo series on TV and finally caught up with series five. It always has a great sound track.
They’re usually a bit left field and bear no relation to the story, this is no exception.

Led Zeppelin III is such an underrated album. Could have picked any song off it but currently loving Tangerine

Great song.

I always loved Gallows Pole and Immigrant Song is one the greatest ever album openers.

I didn't know that but I do remember them being booted off New Faces after some sort of vote rigging scandal.

Edit: how weird is this? I was in a charity yesterday and saw an LP by these very chaps! Uncanny.

BTW it was Opportunity Knocks, not New Faces.
