Big Erol gets a try on his 400th appearance.

Come on Griff, it's only four bloody letters for gawd's sake.

Well the Giants need to keep their concentration longer, but its always in cas to score good tries

Solid game, giants looking good in attack and well done Eorl, 400 games for one club needs to be applauded whoever or wherever they are

Thoroughly enjoyed watching that game, for all the right reasons. Shame about the video refs diabolical decision regarding the Ellis try, which was the only really contentious issue as far as I am aware. Made up for big Eorl though, it's hard not to like that guy.

Great game......cheers Yorkshire.

That was a shocker, and not Hicks fault

Though I thought he made some odd decisions both ways, fair play though for an instant card on the trip

Thought the trip was definite yellow and could have been worse.

Was a costly bin but Hudds were getting on top anyway.

No probs with result as best team won but they have got some shocking vr calls against Cas this year.

Thought the trip sin-bin was a poor decision given there have been several worse ones this year that have only warranted penalties. In fact there were 2 in a Leeds game last month. I do think the sin-bin should be used for deliberate trips but its rediculous to use it in 1 game and not another - complete inconsistency.

As for the rest of the game, aside for the opening 10mins Hudds never really looked like losing that match, they pretty much dominated things across the field and were deserved winners in the end. Still not convinced that have that 'killer instinct' to be able to go on and win the GF but you never know in a 1 off game.

I do wish the RFL would try to do something about the 'wrestle' on the tackle though. Hudds (along with Leeds) are the finest exponents of it. Almost every tackle they grab the non-ball carrying arm once the player is on the ground, preventing the player from being able to push himself up and play the ball, thus slowing the tackle down to a snail's pace. Its one area the NRL is a massive improvement over SL.
