New signing!

No doubt he's a good player, but when does Jake carter and Ryan Johnston get a run of games??

They are both learning and adapting to this level and I don't think this is the season to have half backs in the side who are doing so. They will be great players no doubt but we can't afford to take a risk and go down.

Johnston was getting targeted in defence in the games he was playing. I think Carter did a bit better in defence against Widnes but his contact still wasn't great. I think at times Jake struggled with the line speed but young lads making such a huge step up are going to have areas to work on.

Hopefully this signing is the answer to converting our chances. We had 4 repeat sets against Widnes and never looked threatening which we can't afford to do against most sides.

Ben is a good young halfback with a good kicking game. Is a German International. He had alot of competition at Halifax in the halves with James Woodburn-Hall, Scott Grix, Ben Johnson (Who has been out for most of the season) as partners for Scott Murrell. Top person with a great attitude.

you have got a good player in Ben White - sorry he plumped to go to Halifax rather than come back to Swinton after his spell in Australia

Liam Paisley has been really good for Swinton also - so am surprised you have managed to get him for the rest of the season 😞

Not sure this has been confirmed anywhere yet about paisley but the rumours are very strong.

Confirmed via Facebook.

Cracking signing and also massively weakens one of our rivals.

What a pity we didn't get him before he scored that hat trick against Toulouse! Here's hoping he gets a couple for us!

2 good signings.

The halifax fans on Sunday were full of praise for our new half.

Paisley Will give us some venom. Good young player with something to prove, just what we want.

Well done to the board for getting these players in

Lunt would be a great signing for you. One of the best cumbrian this century. Would love him back at town

Heard rumours hes coming to this  as player coach

I'm pretty sure Lunt is being linked with Leeds at the moment so I doubt he will come here.
