Australia have called a press conference to announce their next fixtures. They will be playing France, Russia and Serbia in Sydney in a new 4-team format. Sure to be a wonderful event.

Well they are scared of playing England you know! ?

That stat they mentioned on commentary is unbelievable, I mean we all know it but when you actually think about it, first team outside the big 3 to beat Australia in 41 years!

In fact just add to that, Tonga are only the fifth team in history to beat Australia.

Watching the game in Aus.... the end of the game the ‘expert’ Greg Alexander said of Lolohea ... “he had a torrid time early in the season at Leeds... then he went to Salford and I don’t know how he went there”

I never ever thought I would see the day when Tonga could be described as the worlds number one RL team.

This is a great day for RL.

Whats the population of Tonga? Plus its despora?.

Australia and NZ will be looking at the rules about eligibility (both codes).

Yep, classic treatment of rugby league by the media, we've just had possibly the biggest result in rugby league history but lets not have any reaction, lets not let fans soak it all up, its done with so just push it to the side. A holes.

That is ridiculous. Biggest result in international RL ever?

Probably although Fiji beat NZ at the WC. That was pretty unthinkable.

I’m way passed caring about how the media treat RL, we bring a lot of it on ourselves with how shoddily the game is run sometimes, just be safe in the knowledge that you saw it and enjoyed it as did all the Tongan fans

And a very good Australian side too. Mitchell is one of the best over there and he has just been smashed all over the park

Yep, you're quite right my friend. I will remember this game for the rest of my life. Its right up there as one of my greatest memories of rugby league no doubt.

Back to bed. There’s no other decent rugby on this morning ?

How insecure are you? The fact that you even mentioned it even though you should be enjoying the moment shows that deep down you know the biggest game of the day is still coming up.

But seriously I’ve never seen the Aussie play so bad. Can’t let union get the spotlight huh? All in vain though

Well that lifted the gloom, what an outstanding performance from the Tonga team but it needs to be built on with regular fixtures against Tier 1 teams.

Who’s Conescu?

Just looked it up as my hearing's not great following an illness some years back but I've corrected it now.

Hope that allows you to sleep better later.
