What historical/legendary RL moments did you watch live?

The 2013 RLWC Semi-Final. Was in Club Wembley behind the sticks that NZ went over and scored the winner.

Catalans’ winning the Cup and being the first non-English side to win the trophy.

As a teenager watched a Club side beating the Queensland Origin team  ,  the famous Bradford, Jeff Grayson led, walk off  in the Premiership Trophy and  The Invincible's of '82 giving British RL a rude awakening.

Sheffield beating Wigan at Wembley another that stands out.

Doncaster winning at St Helens was a corker.

Was it ever. My abiding memory of the Boothferry Park test is Les Dyl's attempt to stop Mal Meninga en route to the goal line. Dyl nearly landed on us such was the force of Meninga's hand-off. The Kangaroos were playing a different game to us.

The Tony Fisher Donny of  Vila Mata'utia , Audley Pennant, Sonny Whakaru, Wayne Jackson, Jamie Bloem, Terry Manning  et al..

Great days in Doncaster history and miles away from anything else they have ever done.

The title of the thread says about historic / legendary moments seen live.

Therefore I will say of the historic moment I was there to witness on Sunday 13 September 1987 and which occurred during a Lancashire Cup 1st round game between Runcorn Highfield and Widnes.

Martin Offiah's first ever try in Rugby League.

Again if truly legendary moments ....

Being at Sydney Stadium to watch a patched-up Great Britain team beat Australia in the 3rd test of the 1988 series ... their first win against the Aussies in 10 years and their first in Australia since 1970. Remember the length-of-the-field tries by Henderson Gill and Mike Gregory - truly legendary !
