So, Trinity will be fielding their strongest side because all of the infected players were fringe players? In that case they stand a good chance of winning, as they often give us a game, have a good first 17 and have had a week off.

Wigan played 6 days ago, Wakey 8.  Not much difference there.

Wigan will have saints cup game in their sights so even if they do win, I only expect them to just do enough. Despite incompetent Chester, wakey have just about their strongest side.

So looking at 24pts handicap on offer, I think a bit on wakey is a must. If they cant do that, Carter may as well fold the club and put us all out of our misery

I've watched three very entertaining matches so far today. Here's hoping for a fourth.

Oh, and by the way the game is kicking off at 745, not 815.

Have I missed most of the first half EW?

Ten minutes have gone and Johnstone hasn't been injured yet. In other news, Jacob Miller opens the scoring for Wakey.

Both firsts for this season. Sort of.

Some good attitude shown by Trinity so far. Taking Bibby over the touchline from that far away, for instance.

Wigan not really thinking about the game at all.  That second try all comes from easily giving over possession and thus Wakey just making yards.

Plenty of time for us to throw this away. Plus Wigan are still odds on to win even 12 down.

Only 2 down now, with KTC.

Wigan try from a Wakey mistake this time.

But their 2nd try a nice one...

At least this is better than the cup match. I did worry it would be a bore-fest. French is certainly worth the entrance money. Oh wait, that’s a bit of an insult isn’t it? He’s worth his weight in vaccine then.

The another easy lost possession gives Wakey 12 rucks on Wigan line. Lucky to get away with it.

Jacob Miller is playing very well tonight.

I’ve always thought he was handy behind a pack winning the collision, but I’ve also seen him get walked through in defence a bit too much.

82% completion rate for Wakefield in 1st half.  Keep it up please.
