Jughead
Can’t remember a Scottish side allegedly joining League One but certainly remember vague claims by Red Star Belgrade, Dublin, Valencia and New York. Toronto’s brief relationship with rugby league certainly brought out life’s dreamers, it seems. 1

Red Star expressed an interest, looked into it and decided against it - what’s wrong with that?

2blackrooks
A Scottish club with proper financial backing and time to build could be competitive in league 1 but we would be better investing in our 16-17-18 year olds bringing them on and trying to get partnerships/pathways with with Cumbrian clubs and Newcastle, placing them there for game time and building a future crop from there, 3

I think it was covered by Edinburgh (?) as one of their long term ambitions when selling things they may or may not have been ownership share. Definitely not something in the works for now (or then). langpark
I am a bit confused. Has there been some sort of a rift in Scotland? I saw there were multiple resignations from SRL a few weeks ago. And why is there now a separate page (RL in Scotland) as well as the SRL page?
