Excellent, I'll be signing up for this.

I won't! Not in a million years.

But very commendable and will be amazing for the cause. Hope it is a roaring success and Rob can be there to start the race.

I'll put you down for a bit of sponsorship then 😉 Good point about Rob being there for it.

Looks like a reasonably challenging course with a climb on to the chevin.

Signed up for this yesterday. Probably a poor decision. Good opportunity for a TRL meet up.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Seriously considering it - then I saw the hill climb at 17 miles out of Otley...

I'll make a decision in the next day or so.

You climb about 100 metres in mile 18. Suspect many people will walk that bit. The last 5 miles is a gentle downhill back to the start

Right.

That can eff off then.

Good luck to all who enter. It's a great cause.

I'll be on the sofa cheering you on.

I'm in. I always said I'd never run a marathon and that a half was my limit, and I'll be honest, I've never got to the end of a half and thought, "Ooooo, I could just go and run that again!" But then I got thinking about Rob and the sheer hell he's going through every single day and realised that if he can do that with that amazing smile of his, then I can do this 💙💛

How's everyone's training going on with less than four weeks to go? I am in big trouble and the video JJB has just put out showing the size of that hill hasn't helped my sense of gloom.

The hill will be fine. I don't think it's steep, just 'long'.

Training going ok-ish, though my hammy doesnt like going past 16miles and i am super slow.

21 miler soon, then a weekend on the sauce and a weeks all inclusive holiday as my taper.

I decided not to enter because we were likely to be abroad in May. Good job as there's no way my achilles would manage 26 miles.

Kevin Sinfield will be pushing Rob Burrow. Because just running a marathon isn't hard enough for him.

Good luck to all those taking part in the morning. The course looks a killer and it will be a massive achievement just to get around. Fantastic effort from everyone involved amd i hope you all enjoy every second

Not as hilly as I'd feared, but quite a warm day. Did see quite a few people needing help from marshals and even police.
