It was bloody hard. The run up from Otley to Bramhope was pretty brutal and came at a horrible time in the race - 16 to 20 miles ish.

But it was a brilliant day to be involved in and the support from the viewing public was amazing. Rhinos shirts everywhere of course but plenty of supporters from other teams running and watching - Wigan, Saints, Wire, Cas, and both Hull teams among those I spotted.

There were a few logistical issues - setting down and retrieving your bags were both a nightmare - but you expect that with a new event and the positives massively outweighed the downsides.

Got round in 4 hours 54, which I am very pleased with indeed.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Looks like all of the top 5 in the current results for the women didn't run the whole course, and four of the top six in the men's race. Something for the organisers to look at next time round.

It’s now official that Kev and Rob have brought a tear to my eye more than anyone else and no that doesn’t include any GF defeats.

Brilliantly choreographed end to the run (don't take this as criticism), Sinfield knows that will make all the major news organisations, the campaign is about raising money but also about raising awareness, this is the stuff that fulfils the second part.

Well done Kevin.

Great moment for sure but what an absolutely horrendous disease this is, to see a human in that condition is truly horrific.

Absolutely and to go from someone as fit and healthy as Rob in such a short space of time shows how brutal it is.

Kevin Sinfield is pure gold. So proud of him, that footage of him carrying Rob brought a lump to my throat. He needs knighting now, can't think of anyone more worthy. And he's from Oldham.

How do we get a nomination sorted?

I watched and applauded between miles 20 and 21 as runners were trying to recover from the climb out of Otley. Kudos to all the runners, everyone who volunteered and everyone else who donated. The atmosphere was wonderful and the cause is exceptional.

I was up in Otley watching it from the rugby club, so just as the runners were heading up the brutal incline into Otley town centre - an incredible effort by everybody!

Also, I've never seen as many Wigan shirts in my life! Leeds - a town full of pie fans? 🤔 🤣

Echoing everything that has been said already on this thread. Sinfield is on a different level.
