You really do have a sensitive side don't you petal.

Biggest club? You can't even play at your home ground without Hull City's permission!

I can only wonder what happened with your edited posts!

In spite of the fact that we're in a pretty bad place at the moment, we're still drawing bigger crowds than your lot.

Hull FC have always been, and probably always will be, the biggest RL club in Hull.

That's what really grates with you and others like you isn't it?

That's why Hudgell did his temporary runner, he ploughed millions into Hull KR, but their home crowds still only managed to peak at around 8,000 while a garbage Hull FC side were always pulling in over 10,000.

Your ground capacity, as I understand, is now over 12,000.

Aside from when Hull FC visit, when do you think you might ever get near that figure?, answer is, you probably won't.

Last season, in spite of Hull KR having a more successful season, Hull FC averaged 4,000 more at their home games.

You own your own ground, make improvements, tell all and sundry how great your club is, brag about investment, have a successful start to the 2023 SL campaign,  but still can't get any where near Hull FC's attendances.

The only one I'd change is swapping Hull KR and Wakey to give a chance of an upset. I think every ties has a genuine chance for either team and/or a great story.

We've had quite enough of playing Hull KR  in the cup thanks. 2017, 2019, 2020, 2022 by my count.

Hey I know you are having difficulty adjusting to your position as Kingston upon Hull's secondary club and that's understandable. Let's be honest you have been there for a while really.

I'll admit that even if you are relegated which you probably won't be, you would probably do a Rovers and bounce back with record attendances for the championship.

The truth is that Kingston upon Hull is the capital of UK Rugby League and that's down to both of us.

Need to bring in some sort of seeding to avoid having to show games like Cas V Hull.

Don’t need seeding, just pick a potentially more exciting game to televise

Or, more likely, it’ll be error strewn, low quality and a tough watch.

To the non RL watcher a close, exciting finish(even low quality) can look good on tv, earlier these 2 played out a 34, 32 game with Hull racing into a big HT lead and cas just falling short in the 2nd half.

Let’s not treat non-RL fans as morons. They know what low quality is and know that teams throwing the ball into touch, ###### defending and knock ons aren’t exciting. No matter how many times Jonathan Davies says something that is no relevance to the sport.

I suppose time will tell, (plenty of morons out there) look at football fans they get excited by garbage week in week out.

Do the winners get a cash prize or can the RFL not afford it.

I believe there is prize money at each stage. That is unless you are a championship team and all that prize fund goes in to a pool to be distributed amongst SL teams after the final to make it fairer.

"they get excited by garbage week in week out".

I know you are being sarcastic, but some RL fans seem to believe it to be the case. If we want the game to survive and thrive we need to promote the positives, not disparage the opposition.

You are right, I was trying to show that even 2 out of form sides can produce an exciting tv game.

Cas v Hull is one for the purists.

Maybe but as a neutral I'm fancying that one - similar league records, two teams who can potentially be physical, makes for a real contest IMO.

Not sure if it's been covered but I'm a little surprised they've not gone for Catalans vs Wire - I'm assuming that's down to logistics/broadcasting rights?

I’m a neutral too and I’d rather walk round Tesco than watch that.

Potentially a great tie, but unless Catalans get some one-off French TV deal for it, unlikely to be shown live.
