Midlands hobo Posted December 5, 2023 Posted December 5, 2023 Dusts off french phrase book bought for world cup. 4
Midlands hobo Posted December 5, 2023 Posted December 5, 2023 So flights Birmingham to ...? I'm guessing Barcelona then the train would be cheapest. Or Bristow to Bordeaux then train. Definitely a holiday to be worked into this
Damien Posted December 5, 2023 Posted December 5, 2023 What is the end goal? Unless it is to be a SL club it seems pretty pointless and detrimental to the French game. I'm all for French clubs in SL but adding teams needs to be properly planned and SL must be willing to expand to 3 French clubs, if such an event transpires. If that is a real possibility then great. 8 1
Midlands hobo Posted December 5, 2023 Posted December 5, 2023 It's another semi pro team spreading the development of the game in the area taking away from the RAH RAHS. Great idea if only we could rustle up a Dutch L1 team too. 5

Coggo Posted December 5, 2023 Posted December 5, 2023 Why? How is it better than Elite 1? What would be their grading?
dboy Posted December 5, 2023 Posted December 5, 2023 Birmingham to Stansted is only 2 hours by either road or train.

dboy Posted December 5, 2023 Posted December 5, 2023 National Express = Birmingham to Stansted coach from £27.10
dixiedean Posted December 5, 2023 Posted December 5, 2023 Carcassonne is a lovely little city to visit. Far better than Toulouse or Perpignan. 7

ATLANTISMAN Posted December 5, 2023 Posted December 5, 2023 I have mixed feelings about this better they stay in Elite 1 and we have a good Anglo/French cup . If they go expect Lezignan Limoux Albi To follow suit

Winstonswhite Posted December 5, 2023 Posted December 5, 2023 Ryanair fly from Manchester, East Midlands and Stansted, but obviously only on certain days.
Midlands hobo Posted December 5, 2023 Posted December 5, 2023 And at 3* the advertised price if you want basics like windows a seatbelt or the plane to actually stop before you're thrown out 3
