I keep coming on the forum, seeing this thread has new posts and thinking "Oh look, more people are excited for London's first win of the season!"

But no, it's just the same old IMG rubbish going back and forth in a new thread. (Oh, and also the usual Leigh talk which happens in every thread apparently)

Don't think anyone has mentioned London or Hull in a few pages now !

Us Hull fans are just trying to keep a low profile mate.  I assume London fans are still celebrating👍

We will be reminiscing about that game for the rest of the season, don't you worry.

I'm just catching up with the forum after several days of family festivities. Looked at the number of pages and thought it had generated a lot of interest for a game between the bottom two.

Should have known better.

Hull will be very grateful for their stadium IMG points by seasons end.

I think the stadium has a pretty neutral effect on Hull's grading. What we gain in the facilities score we lose in the primacy of tenure and utilisation scores.

I suspect that a bright shiny new one you don’t own is a bit better than “pretty neutral” than a S - ‘ole you do own. Otherwise Castleford wouldn’t be quite as nervous as they appear to be.

Putting to one side what we as RL fans think about IMG's new world, having a team already relegated before a ball is kicked no matter what they achieve on the field must look bizarre to say the least to passing observers.

I've seen a lot of complaints on Social Media about how IMG shafted London but I don't agree with that. All IMG did was assess London by the critieria and scored them accordingly.

Always easy to say when you support a team which it doesn't affect.

There was nothing wrong with how London were scored on the criteria and my belief is that London's season would have looked a lot like this - and probably with less interest - without IMG's scoring.

Marginally yes, but our neighbours are an example of how your ground can achieve a higher grading than a bright shiny new one.

The joke at the time was that if Hull's A grade was under threat we could always ask the council to flatten the South Stand and put a few burger vans in to improve our utilisation score.

The thing HullFC  supporters should be alarmed about is the fact that the points difference between them and London is only 32.A team promoted from the Championship who just peaked at the right time and with only 20% of Hull FC's income can be so close to a long established SL team.I do think Hull Fc are capable of a top 6 finish but it will probably take 3 years.Give Myler the chance to turn things round.

It’ll be a coach that turns it around.

Who chooses the coach and incoming players ?.

It’ll be Myler up until the appointment but he won’t be coaching.

The deficiencies seemed clear to me from the first friendly.

Anybody who witnessed the pre-season Scott Taylor testimonial game against Wigan would have known what we were in for. Talk about a reality check, we looked so out of our depth.

Are you saying if it had been say Castleford or Salford or Huddersfield or any other smaller M62 side it would not have got the attention ?

Yes because people are not interested in small town rugby teams - this is our capital city and they are doing things tough
