Leigh very VERY fast on the mark in defense at the PTB, Saints fashion and Salford too slow at PTB, just tossing the ball from acting half back by which time Leigh are on top of them. Need to run from the PTB.

But too late for that now.

Leigh energy: I don't know what they are sprinkling on their cornflakes but I could do with some.

Usually it's Rowley teams showing that energy against Leigh, its nice for the shoe to be on the other foot for a change

We looked not right last weekend, we looked like a team to prove a point tonight. Mulhern and Amone ruined them, the hookers and half’s had a field day. Fantastic noise levels in ground, the adversity is uniting

Salfords worst performance of the season so far, can imagine Rowley has read them the riot act, credit to Leigh though who wanted it more.

What a difference a week makes. Different body language and a different dressing room.

Hoping that Lam simply rested Ipape and Amone due to the game being in the bag.

Great noise from the North stand. Some real big games coming up which are do or die when it comes to potential top 6.

Thorough performance from Leigh in both attack and defence - in the main- but we played the last 13 mins like we were losing and were panicking to score, a level head from someone and we would have scored 50, albeit we never allowed Salford to settle into their easy flowing rhythm a lot of their mistakes were caused by Leigh's determination other than just simple bad play by Salford who were throwing desperation passes when being tackled, a tactic used by Paul Rowley which usually comes off but not tonight I saw it so much off it at Leigh when he was the coach there. Leigh's pack monstered Salfords and gave Sneyd no base to do his work and in turn allowed Lam to boss the show but it was a 1 to 17 performance and a very good win.

Well that was an unexpected bonus! Terrific performance across the board and the result was pretty much reflective of the game.

Always nice to beat that lot from down the Lancs (not that it happens often). Fair play to the pink binned mob, they never stopped singing second half despite getting a shoeing on the field.

Agree with that Matt. The Salford fans sang throughout in what was a good atmosphere.

A few on the road now for us I believe. Need to win a chunk of them moving should we have aspirations to be there or thereabouts come the business end of the season.

Two points at Huddersfield is a must to have a chance of catching the rest, and is entirely possible.

Could be a good chance to play Hudds and HKR should they reach the final ???

HKR more so I’d have thought given it would be the week before (what a ridiculously short gap to the final btw)

Most teams have an " annual stinker " Salford fans will be hoping that's theirs out of the way

Soon we will be dancing the fandango
FROM 2004,TO DO WHAT THIS CLUB HAS DONE,IF THATS NOT GREATNESSTHEN i DONT KNOW WHAT IS.

Just watched that on catch up.  Leigh’s hard work in the first half reaped the benefits in the second. Salford ran out of energy.  Big raps for the Leigh front 3.

What a great winger Charley still is.

Just watched the match Leopards were really on fire.

Charnley is the new Ryan Hall can see him going at this rate for another 3 seasons.

Paul

It's crazy that Charnley was struggling to even break into our championship team when he first came to us. Put in a huge amount of work in preseason last year though and the switch from right to left wing seems to have given him a new lease of life. Even his pace seems to be back up slightly.

Leave my pink bin alone!

Salford are always capable of turning in this performance

I think the last 15 mins was a case of not really having much energy left. When moylan broke from Leutele’s offload, nobody was really pushing to support, and there were one or two cramping up at the end. Probably why we don’t win games that are still in the balance in the last quarter
