With Wembley places on offer, and players returning from injury, I think we will be pretty focused on this, and will prevail. However, when Salford are good they are very good indeed, so a shock is not out of the question. Salford games are always very watchable, so this is one not to be missed.

Given how the last game ended (short drop out) I would imagine that Salford really want to win this one. I expect them to be very up for it.

I feel like Salford play better against stronger teams and worse against weaker teams, so in a weird way I think Wigan are good enough to be troubled by Salford today.

Some more weak defending. Sneyd didn't even seem to be attempting a tackle there - he was just stood in the way and got knocked on his backside. Wigan not playing particularly well but clearly in control.

I don't think he expected Nsemba to get the ball, like his team-mate who tackled French, who looked the more likely target.

If you're not set to tackle a big guy, you're going to get bounced.

Bit daft that the video ref can't judge on a very obvious offside simply because it wasn't specifically referred to by the ref, but if it had been foul play they could interject.

I'm sure he can judge on offside, but he chose not to.

I don't think so, though that's purely because I don't recall ever seeing it happen unless the ref specifically asks for it to be checked. Otherwise it would be the starting point for pretty much every video ref decision.

I think it's fair to say with Mago, Dupree, Hill and Leeming on the field there are many more opportunities for Salford to get at us.

I take your point after that try for Salford.
