Discuss the SL game between Leigh Leopards and Huddersfield Giants here without questioning the impartiality of the officials.

Thank you.

Can clubs please stop sacking their ###### coaches just before they play Leigh?!

Just our luck if Hudds suddenly play a blinder with the coach sacking bounce now.

Will Watson's departure show us a different side to our players? it will be interesting to see if the lack of effort and pride will return or if it's still an issue, Robbo is in temporary charge and he is popular with the players and board so who knows, i've bought my ticket so i'm hoping i see a change in attitude and a win, Giants by 6.

I'm just glad hes gone mate, After nearly 4 seasons we are worse than when he came and hes spent a fortune of Mr Dave's money on largely the wrong players, personally i don't think he knows what a good player is, He has always gone for quantity over quality , I hope he gets another job somewhere i'm just happy he isn't with us anymore.

And we have Saints in two weeks...

A hammering by big wiggin tonight and Wellens could be shown the door, hopefully.

I will never ever have any respect for the man after his public assassination of John Asiata after the CC semi-final last year, and that was just a few months after condoning a very similar tackling technique by one of his own players saying "its different and unconventional but no less effective"

Almost 2 years to the day since Mr Watson signed an extended 4 year contract, proclaiming he wanted to "create a legacy and challenge the dominance of the league", what a shame it all came to this.

But things started to unravel soon after when you look back. Plus, given the fact that a good chunk of next year's cap has already been allocated to 2 ageing forwards, his effect on the club will be felt for some time yet.

Robbo in the short term? Well at least he's the sort of coach who can lift the gloom & the dark cloud that's been hovering around the place for so long, He'll bin the much maligned 'process' and bring back some real hope.

Finally, maybe now is the time for Ken to have a fresh look at the directorship of the club too. Regardless of our 2 recent additions, long suffering fans are only too aware of major weaknesses in this department also.

Exceptionally well put, totally agree.

Couldn't agree more with that statement.

44 minutes in and there's just 2 points in it. Not what I expected, but I welcome a close fight.

We’ve done something this season to hack off officials- evens itself up in the end I am told

Try for Connor, but he misses a relatively easy conversion. Still a 2-point game, but in the other direction.

Of course, just as I post that, the referee actually does make a harsh (and incorrect) call. But that genuinely was a one-off, not a trend.

Bin time for Chris Hill and Emile Zola.

Remember when Savelio looked like a budding superstar of the game?

A red card, which (along with the fact that the tackled player was falling) may mitigate what the disciplinary panel dish out on top of the sending-off.

Huddersfield down to 14 players now.
