Seeing as they pushed us all the way last weekend I'm going for Huddersfield by 10.

I feel for the Salford fans, having had the 'we beat Ian Watson' trophy discontinued meaning that beating lowly Huddersfield (as they usually do) is now meaningless apart from 2 league points, i hope it doesn't affect them too badly, it also means they are going to have to find a new chant now after 4 years of the same one.

Jesting aside, i'm hoping another week of Robbo and his enthusiasm has rubbed off on the players, we are pretty much playing a reseve forward pack so hopefully we play with a bit more pride this week again and hold our heads high.

Salford by 8 but a brave effort from Fartown.

Huddersfield look a bit depleted, Salford by 12.

Aye we're doing it tough at the moment

We are missing:

Swift

Marsters

Greenwood

Murchie

Hewitt

Ikahihifo

Deakin

Livett

Doubts over Naiqama, Cudjoe and Rushton, in fact we can only name 7 of our first 13, the plus to this is it's giving youngsters and fringe players a chance to show what they can do.

We still have a squad out that's capable of competing in Super League though so i won't use it as an excuse.

My predicitions have been distinctly average and so I've gone for a Huddersfield win.

I got most of my predictions wrong last week - sooo.... Salford by 12 in this one.

I think your luck is going to change before mine 48C, and so you'll be proved right this week.

Enjoying this. Nowt in it after 30 mins.

Turned into a decent contest after a dreadful start.

Pretty engaging first half . Hudds doing well then soft error from Willy Rushton for a try by Mellor who’s looked quite lively

Salford didn't play well at all. Think the small squad and playing everything through Sneyd has caught up with them.

The Singleton sinbin was a joke. Fell into his arm. Happens multiple times a game without a penalty being given.

I don't like whinging about officials but have no idea why the video referee is even looking at it. If there's a swinging arm then fair enough but it's just an ordinary tackling motion in that situation.

We have the best sport in the world but it's beyond frustrating.
