How have haven managed to get loan players in?

Covid rule apparently. It stinks so guessing if its that rife in the Haven squad there will be no scrums etc. Player welfare only applies to 1 side who happen to be on their ######? Pathetic rule to still be in place and the RFL need to get a grip.

Just doesn't sit right does it, must have been a massive coincidence that it was the injured players that caught it.

I agree with you dkw, maybe it was the only way Haven could field a team but it stinks.

It's absolutely embarrassing at a professional sport level.

Reminds me of the days at amateur level when a team didn't want to travel because they had a weak team so said half the team had COVID.

The players they are claiming to have picked the disease up haven't played in a long time and likely won't play all season.

If we had a competent managing body they'd have said you're trying it on so no or done an independent test on the day of the game and see what the results were. No doubt they'd be negative and the RFL knows it.

That was Salford when due to play Wakefield. They got a fine but we didn't get any points awarded.

Remember it well and always always will.

Good effort by Fax at Tolouse, score didn’t reflect the game

Good game at Toulouse. Halifax played well. Hursey-Horad hand full for the locals with two tries. Crowed not bad at 2,985

Yes, a very good game. I thought it was much closer than the scoreline suggests. Halifax on this form look much too good to be worrying about relegation. Hursey in particular, looked superb, as you suggest.

The attendance looked to be much smaller from the tv pictures, but obviously very hard to judge from tv, especlally in such a big ground.

Halifax had three French players - while TO had I think about eight

Chucking it down all morning in Wakefield and still same at the ground now. Trinity might have to rely on the forwards for this game.

Bit like all the previous 30 games. 😆

Jermaine McGillvary makes a break and feeds Luke Gale for Trinity's second try.

Not bad for a couple of OAPs. :kolobok_wink:

Typical Wakefield game. Tipping the ball up repeatedly but opposition unable to punish us (Toulouse being the exception). Wait for opposition to hopefully tire and then we post some points.
