StandOffHalf
With Wigan heading to Vegas, the only way it happens is if KR win. One more reason to cheer on the underdog next weekend, heehee...

As much as Wigan are not my cup of tea, I do find that they do try and do the right thing for the sport - i think they'll travel twice in a few weeks for the WCC and Vegas.

I would be very disappointed in us if we didn't move heaven and earth to me the WCC happen.

If Wigan win the final, a WCC in Australia would feel like the only real next challenge for them. Wigan and Hull KR should also get a bye to the last 16 of the Challenge cup, and play each other on the opening day of the season when other clubs play in the cup. That would free up the WCC weekend, so they're not waiting for months to rearrange a game in hand.

Exiled Wiganer
It’s easy. If Wigan win, they don’t go to Vegas. The reputation of NH rugby matters far more than a stupid jolly. Edited October 7 by Exiled Wiganer

SL teams could win the next 100 WCC but the Australian mentality will always be the same: NRL team wins- obviously we won we're the best. SL team wins- it's just a glorified trial game, we're still the best.

Dunbar
So Penrith are locked in to go to Vegas. Wigan are locked in to go to Vegas. If Wigan win on Saturday, the obvious answer is they play half a game against Penrith for the WCC and then Wigan play 40 minutes against Warrington for Super League points and Penrith play 40 minutes for the NRL points.
