Pity Clark threw that pass, other than that he has been very good and really dangerous with ball in hand.

Nice intercept from Mariner. England getting a bit cocky with the silly wide ball from Clark.

Pauga isn't a good kicker, but he plonks it over.

That was an outstanding take from Mariner. Great piece of skill that deserved more credit.

Some enjoyable tries to watch so far in this.

Well that wasn't confusing at all.

FFS, why do we have some of the most incompetent commentators in sport?

We're not at the ground, we only see zoomed in pictures. You're at the ground, you can visibly see what the referee and touch judges are doing.

Just embarrassing.

Samoa can consider themselves pretty fortunate to be just 10 points behind, they have been second best in almost every area.

The ref really does need to get the yellow card out. Samoa are ruining this game.

Either he is just making a game of it or is too scared of the inevitable flak he'll get from Samoa and the NRL players if he does. It's probably a bit of both.

They could and should have been down to 12 halfway through that 40, they didn't clean up the tackles at all, in fact it got worse when the 15 got involved.

Only 10 points of margin, though England could do better.

Samoa are still in the game.

They'll be better in the 2nd test.

Don't say that - johnny thinks it's quite hilarious that you think he is world class.

Radley on the ball has been excellent. Williams and Clarke (apart from the brainfart moment) have also been top class.

England need to come out and put this to bed early in the second half.

Even Luai could barely keep a straight face and didn't hide under the NRL interpretation when asked about the rucks. It was clear he knew what Samoa were doing.

''If we can get our fair share of possession I think that'll go a long way to us coming back and winning the game.''

''I think we're just trying to find our own rhythm, with what we're used to back home, but we were sort of feeling that throughout the game and we'll make sure we fix that up second half.''

Jarome Luai on the ruck enforced by the English ref.
