Uninteresting Trivial Facts

Recommended Posts

Thanks Tim and the best of British with your venture. Getting through French bureaucracy is no mean feat.

Unfortunately, I don't think I shall be travelling to France any time soon, unless it's for another training course in Lille. Time is at a premium when I'm home.

I have a confession to make. I'm a big girlie wimp !

I just can't get on with large meaty sausages, as I struggle to get through them. I simply can't crunch my way through a cumberland, I never have been able to and don't even point me in the direction of a bratworst. So many really good quality sausages have been left on my breakfast plate over the years, it's embarassing.

I know they're high quality and top rate but I prefer something a little easier to chew. Which is why I prefer the smaller Pork and Apple sausage which Burchalls do. I can eat them.

I know, I know. I'm wierd, but there we are. How about a nice small chipolata wrapped in streaky bacon? Would your customers take to those?

Best wishes.

Just wondering if it was a slow night in the Hindu Kush...

With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!

Don't read if you're of a squeamish nature.

I have a blister the size of a 10p piece on the back of my heel. :(

I stupidly wore a pair of new shoes when going to a meeting in London. 30 minute walk each way from the train station as I prefer to walk than take the tube where possible in London. By the time I was back at the train station after the meeting, my foot was killing me and I knew a blister was coming up. Got back to Ipswich and saw the bus I needed waiting at the lights outside the station, I ran to get it and that must have been the last straw for the blister as it burst it and ripped all the skin off.

I properly cleaned (diluted dettol :() and dressed it when I got home but it's now a lovely big red hole in the back of my heel meaning I'm not going driving or going for a walk for the next few days.

I most certainly am... I suppose it serves me right for being so daft as to do about 4 miles of walking in brand new leather shoes without even giving them a quick wander round to check that they're not going to rub.

Work Xmas do last night.

God was I hammered!!!

For some reason, it was an Egyptian themed event in MK, by Willen lake, but it was bloody good, the food was good too.

Coach there and back, all paid for by the Boss.Including drinks. Lots of drinks.

Now on hair of the dog, hoping to recover.

For many years, I have used goliath safety shoes for work They become really comfortable and last for ages and ages, but, when you first get a pair, they can feel like they are crippling you. I sometimes suspect that you never actually break them in ... your feet just give up and mould themselves to the shape of the shoe.

I have had fun on here today. It's been like walking round poking certain people with a pointy stick. :D

You should try the cross-code forum, it's like that every day over there

Tomorrow I will be Pere Noel at the local school.

I think its because I'm fat.

Tonight I will mostly be swotting up on my Ho ho hoing in French.

I go all term without getting a single sniffle and now I have the mother of all colds. Dirty students and their dirty germs.

A hoot, driving across the plateau to the school to the soothing, Christmasy sounds of Rammstein.....

They couldn't find a generous Frenchman? :P

Said knowing that I'm a quite stereotypically tight Yorkshireman!
