Don’t need an alarm; I have two kids under 2yrs old... glutton for punishment.

I wasn’t wrong... a horrendous teething nappy was awaiting with the eldest daughter whilst the other had lost her dummy... both at around 0415hrs... the perfect alarm clock!

Surprised that PNG didn't get a home quarter final.

I think AAMI in Melbourne is the single worst place they could have picked for this game. Put it in Townsville or Cairns and there'll be tons coming out to see it, and a number of PNG fans too. In a 30k stadium outside a heartland state with two teams that don't have much in the way of fans... poor organisation.

Townsville & Cairns have hardly bothered to turn up for previous games, why would this one be different? Looks like mostly England fans in the ground right now.

Let's go boys. Something very intimate about watching a game at this time of the morning, feels like Chappers and co are in my front room.

Must feel quite intimate at the ground too, since only England fans seem to have bothered. I can only repeat the point I made the other week about RL not really taking off in Australia.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

I wouldn't be expecting anyone else but English with a minor sprinkling of PNGers

knockout, close to PNG geographically, England much bigger attraction for neutral than Wales, Ireland and USA
