Sticklebricks Posted February 28, 2020 Posted February 28, 2020 Welcome aboard Ryan, big step up but hopefully you will adjust to the pro game pretty quickly, and settle in to the team good luck marra
Callum Linford 98 Posted February 28, 2020 Posted February 28, 2020 Good to see he's been working with Fui Fui to get his self up to speed with the no-nonsense approach.
snoopdog Posted February 28, 2020 Posted February 28, 2020 Potentially another Stevie , same attitude and very similar attributes.
town2018 Posted February 28, 2020 Posted February 28, 2020 This could quite possibly the worst signing town have made in recent years a lot better players out there
townie88 Posted February 28, 2020 Posted February 28, 2020 Never seen the lad play. Looks a big lad though. What we need. Good luck. Embrace the learning, have the right attitude and I'm sure you'll be successful

Some will come off some won’t but it’s the right way 6) maybe most pertinently .... you’ve seen some of the signings we’ve made in recent years !

Neutralfan7 Posted February 28, 2020 Posted February 28, 2020 Decent amateur, hope he makes the step up
havenhater Posted February 28, 2020 Posted February 28, 2020 Glad to see him signed up to be honest, hopefully can revert back to elbra when not in the squad. He just needs time to adapt everyone needs to remember but in Chris I trust. Good luck ryan

We need players who want to sign for the club who have , desire to succeed , commitment and the attitude to give the pro game a shot , Ryan definitely as those trates. Maybe these so called better players "out there" don't .

Just because players have a desire to succeed and want to play for town doesn't make them a good signing yes it helps but ability to play at this level has got to be priority surely and this lad is way off Ive watched him a lot and seen nothing that stands out maybe should off went and had a year or 2 in conference 1st
Cumberland Sausage Posted February 28, 2020 Posted February 28, 2020 Welcome Ryan and cannot wait to see another Maryport Lad out on that pitch with Stevie. Chris is our Coach and he has obviously seen something in Ryan while he has been training with us to offer him a Contract and from what I have seen of the Local Lad's he has signed this season none of them will let us down regarding effort and attitude. Also what better player to have him working with in training that Fui as that Guy has played at the very top level and is still pulling up Trees at 40.

JMB Posted February 28, 2020 Posted February 28, 2020 Think every player should be judged on the way they adapt in to the semi pro game, not sure if you can fully make an assumption that just because the player comes in from the local league he hasn't got the poetical to play at a higher level,

Best of luck to the lad, welcome on board.
Town utd Posted February 28, 2020 Posted February 28, 2020 Good luck Ryan, all the best at town, like the way town are giving locals a go,all the squad and new signings seem to have the right attitude

silverfox Posted February 28, 2020 Posted February 28, 2020 2018 do you not like Ryan personally . Comments like that are way out of order. Full marks to Ryan for giving it ago. Chris isnt stupid and must have seen something that YOU haven't. Good luck Ryan . and if you know 2018 I hope you ram his words down his throat. By the way Fifita will take some beating as been the worst signing .
