Chris Taylor Posted August 4, 2020 Posted August 4, 2020 Great to have them here, more money for the club and will give us more access to funding for improving the stadium too. Well done, Rovers. 2008 RFL Wakefield & District Young Volunteer of the Year
Bryan S Taylor Posted August 4, 2020 Posted August 4, 2020 The positives out weigh the disadvantages. Good luck to both sides
Steve Slater Posted August 5, 2020 Posted August 5, 2020 Can anyone remember going to a fans meeting quite a few years ago when they announced they were looking into a football club using the stadium, I can't remember whether this was Wakefield AFC or not,Β because they would then be able to apply for a grant to install a plastic pitch. Nothing came of it at the time but I wonder whether the same still applies?Β
Robin Evans Posted August 5, 2020 Posted August 5, 2020 It wasn't wakey Steve but I cant for t'life of me remember which club it was

It's not run by numpties for a start. And they don't discriminate.
