Hasn't this been covered before and Sky can only show whistle to whistle or something, or that they have to cut abruptly before Matty Johns comes on.

We all have to option for full coverage if we want to pay for it.

I do pay for it on Sky!

If you see it to the final whistle you are doing well. Used to record it on Sky+, and nearly always cut off before final whistle. I did complain. I got a polite reply, but they made it obvious they were not going to change anything.

Yes whistle to whistle. If the Aussies cut to adverts Sky can’t show that and if they cut to the Matty John’s show(who I think do the post March interviews) they can’t show that either.

Just to add a few weeks ago Sky showed the first 20mins of the Matty John’s show and somebody probably got in a lot of trouble for it. Which is likely why they are so keen on it at the minute.

Shame.

It’s funny though, because they can run fox sports adverts, just not 3rd party ads (I guess?)

So today at half time, they ran a nice advert for the UFC event tonight which is through a fox affiliate in Oz, but is on BT sports over here 🤪

Shame they can’t figure it out to keep the live feed on the players and even just do a voice over from a studio over here, but that’d be too much effort for sky when as others say, they probably aren’t all that concerned

I think myself and a mate paid £60 each for our 12 month watchnrl  subscription. May as well go half’s as you are allowed to stream two devices at same time. In my opinion an absolute bargain for what you receive. Not only the matches but the entire fox sports rugby league offering (nrl360, Matty john’s show, the wrap etc.) plus loads of classic games and documentaries.

Buy ‘Watch NRL’ if you want the whole package, I haven’t got it as it doesn’t suit when I can watch but at circa £120 for the season it’s a bargain. If you pay for Sky Sports you’re basically paying 80%+ for premier league football.

If a subscription tv network is all that is wrong with modern society, that's absolutely fantastic news.

Doesn't suit when you can watch? But all games and shows on watchnrl.com are available on demand. That means that you can watch them as replays anytime you want! Didn't you know that?

The only problem with watching matches as replays is that you don't get the pre-match, half-time, and post match interviews and analysis. But you can still get the best analysis of the NRL round in the "Big League Wrap" on a Sunday around lunchtime.

I think that Ben Ikin is excellent, a very smart man, and Michael Ennis and Greg "Brandy" Alexander are very astute, as are Benji Marshall and James Graham.

Also if you get watchnrl.com you can watch "nrl360" for an hour Monday to Wednesday, and that is a very well prepared and intelligent discussion, with several of the top Australian rugby league journalists participating.

The interview show "Matty Johns Face to Face" on Wednesdays is a serious interview format, and often worth watching. But Thursday's "Late Night with Matty Johns" and "Sunday Night with Matty Johns" are definitely not worth watching except for the early match analyses,, because the humour of Nathan Hindmarsh and Bryan Fletcher, and other characters on those two shows, are aimed at the lowest common denominator of fan in Australia, not for the smart segment of the people on this forum.

I did know yeah, I’m just not interested in watching replays, when I already know the score.
