We did this a couple of years ago and it's really just a continuation of that policy. Will potentially provide game time for the likes of Doyle, McConnell and Bailey Gill. Makes sense for both teams.

One slightly random but mad fact about our relationship with the Rhinos, especially for those who think such relationships only benefit the SL team...

We played Leeds in a pre-season game in 2019, and Leeds played a team which comprised mainly of young/fringe players.

Of the 13 that started for Leeds, all except one (wing Ben Markland) has subsequently played for Fev, and six of those 12 players became permanent Fev players.

But according to the Leeds web site we are not being prioritised. Hope we get some good players when needed. UTR

I heard a rumour at yesterday's game that this fella was coming as player/assistant coach, so I checked him out on Wikipedia, and lo and behold look what the first line revealed:-

Interesting rumour S but two things stand out 

1 IF he's coming why no mention from club 

2 IF he's coming why according to york fans was he was watching York v c%s rather than playing/assistant coaching FEV v whinos
