On the flipside, how many of the Yorkshire clubs have ended up homeless, like Oldham & Swinton.

Not homeless. The RFL own the lease on their ground.

Just like someone else owns the lease on Swinton and Oldham’s grounds?

Why is it that when it comes to stadiums Yorkshire club are miles behind the Lancashire  teams .? Even in football there grounds are miles behind .

Headingley is the best Stadium in Super League. Huddersfield and Hull FC both play from is decent Football stadiums as is the case with Wigan. The Wakefield based teams just don’t have any serious money behind them similar to that with Salford who were built a stadium but now leaving it as they can’t afford to pay the rent.

You forgot Doncaster who have a decent stadium which is shared with the football club .but to me poor stadiums are holding the sport back . Super league should bring in minimum standards for stadium

You've also got the likes of York and Doncaster playing in nice modern stadiums. I haven't actually been to York's yet but it looks great.

In an ideal world that would be great, but where does the money come from? We aren't a wealthy sport. The reason why Cas and Wakefield are still playing in knackered old stadiums isn't because they just can't be bothered to do anything about it. They would love to be in modern ones if they could.

How many years has these two clubs been in super league ? How many millions of pounds have they received by being there yet they havent improved any of there grounds in that time .

You probably need to do some research into how many RL stadiums have come about, and how Wakefield and Castleford have been unlucky (at best) and outright shafted (at worst).

Many people ask "why don't they do what [club] did?" and the answer is "they did". But sometimes retail developments fall through and sometimes local authorities are completely negligent in enforcing Section 106 conditions.

When you do , splash out on the hospitality , the venues , service , and food are first rate.

Not really the same. Swinton & Oldham move about from season to season, with no real permanent home.

Widnes and Wire do also, and Leigh.
