Oh, that was a hard'n'nasty head clash. Fingers crossed he's okay.

That looks a bod one. Hope he's OK.

I've never played pro-RL before, but I wonder what effect a disappointing crowd and atmosphere has on a player when they're anticipating it being different.

The crowd looks good, RL fans have a habit of getting to their seats very last minute. Like I said last week, at the Union World Cup game at Elland Road we were told to go to our seats by kick off.

TBF, when you have paid £6 for a pint you want to savour it.

Yes, a 35k+ crowd in London (most likely 40+ in all honesty) is disappointing. Bloody hell.

Hard to tell because of the pricing issues.

The crowd seems flat, England seem flat in a way I don't think they would be next week if we get there.

Brown leaves the field under his own steam, but he's definitely not all there.

I think this is a down side to not playing a group game down in the south, let alone an England game.

You can’t transplant the team in and expect the atmosphere to follow (although it sounds better than some England games have).

England will outlast Samoa at the end of both halves.

We’ve attracted the best part of 40k (if not more) people to watch a World Cup Semi-Final, many of which will be watching their first game, and you’re moaning about the atmosphere, which is subdued because England have started poorly.

(I normally avoid England/GB big games on the TV so won’t be sticking around for long)

We haven't reached "bent ref" territory yet, so stick around.

I bailed out of yesterday's semi-final thread once it got silly, then dropped back in after the final hooter to see if the grown-ups were present.
