What?!?!

No doubt for me.

The law says definetley would have, he was a long way from the ball with a Salford player coming in closer to the ball.

Im not sure on that as a penalty try, there was 3 Salford players in the frame that could have got to the ball before the Leigh player

So don't foul him to stop him getting near.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

It's completely Salford's own fault. ..started by Sneyd stupidity, reinforced by Watkins.

I like that decision, think the fouled side should get a bit more benefit of the doubt than they often get, when it is a blatant foul to prevent a try. Regardless of this made-up idea that the attacking side must have been odds on to score.

Agreed.

Rugby Union the only game in the world were the spectators handle the ball more than the players.

Why no yellow card for Watkins?

Watkins  should be made to wear a dunce's hat.

That doesn’t automatically make it a penalty try

Nothing makes it 'automatically' a penalty try, it is explicitly about the referee's opinion.

I agree those are often not given but as I said my opinion is they should be.

You would have to change the wording of the law.

Its amazing how Jack Smith gets through a game without losing his voice . Very impressive

It's because he's usually whistling.

Stoopid upending ends the game.

Sneyd slots over the penalty as Leigh end up with a player short due to a sin bin.

10-20 full tarm.

Amone binned and will have to see out the game sitting in a tree

Maybe Josh Addo-Carr could have made it to a seat before the hooter. Tom Amone, less likely.

Actually the law doesn't say that:

the Referee may award a penalty try if, in his opinion, a try would have been scored but for the unfair play of the defending team.
