I linked to a Guardian article in this thread just before the match. Saints flew back on Monday, Wellens told them that Wednesday training was optional, and ever single player turned up.

It really is, very entertaining, credit to both teams. Radford’s coaching style has clearly evolved. 

It’s been the best SL start to a season I can remember. Very entertaining and high quality games
