There's a working population of 4100 in Antarctica,  plenty of Aussies as well !

Antarctica RL ,not a new country, a whole new continent. The team can train with the polar bears....oh hang on, that's the Arctic isn't it?

Dang it! Another fine idea hits the dust. Arctic....Eskimos? They're tough cookies......

There is a rugby union team in Andorra (French lower league) nice stadium nearest rugby league team would have been Font Romeu (Don't think they are going anymore) i remember watching Palau play them in Bourg Madam around 20 years ago.

Andorra is a strange place we had a ski apartment there until around 4 years ago until my wife smashed her knee skiing and sold it:( Used to enjoy spending January/February there and working from the apartment in Canello.

Would a SL team in Andorra be a competitor to the fans favourite away weekend to Catalan ?

Fly into Barcelona/ Toulouse and travel across for game day,

Andorra is duty free and low tax so great for a beer as well

How about Andorra try there luck in the French league first.

Maybe it's time for a Micro Nation challenge cup with Andorra, San Marino, Leichestein and Vatican

What would be your criteria for Micro Nations though - would Luxembourg be allowed in or is it too big?

The generally accepted list of microstates in Europe is Andorra, Liechtenstein, San Marino, Monaco and the Vatican City.

Population-wise, Luxembourg is ahead of Iceland, Malta and Montenegro before you get to the micro states.

Is the definition by population or area though? Greenland’s population is less than Andorra’s but I wouldn’t consider that to be a micro state. We really need to clear this up before discussing the merits of a fictional micro state rugby league comp.

I now consider the matter closed.

Not what I asked old bean, are you defining it on area or population?

The Vatican Cardinals would have to be favourites here.  Would the pope mobile double as the motorised stretcher for injured players?

I like the Vatican Cardinals.  Great name for a team.

Unlike some Super League towns, the Vatican actually has a train station.

Would a team from Andorra be a good fit for rugby league ? It borders France and has a big connection with Catalonia . It would also give rugby league a new nation.
