How long does it need to be? The Leigh twitter feed had it as 48 mins played when the lights went out.

I remember many years ago, Rovers played Leigh at craven park. We were losing and the floodlight went out. But we hadn't played enough of the match (60 minutes I think) for the result to stand. So we had a replay later in the year and won.

Radio Leeds were saying that Leigh wanted to finish the match on Sunday, continuing from where it was abandoned.

Huddersfield want it replayed completely.

There are no rules on that. Whether the result 'stands' or the game is replayed is decided by the RFL. If replayed as the abandonment was after half time spectators will have to pay to attend.

But just like to add that the Op Rules allow for the rules to be varied....

No way this game should be replayed from any point. Leigh have to forfeit. It would be unfair for so many reasons.

- Huddersfield had to shell out for costs for a no result.

- Huddersfield get fatigued players through no fault of their own to then have to play again.

- Leigh have been unable to fulfill a fixture.

Pity the lights went out, we had 5 tackles near Huddersfield's line. No way did they deserve to be only 4 points behind, but they were.
