Indeed. We still don't really know the club's financial position in terms of expenditure for next season, other than it will be reduced, and we don't know what our reasons might be for letting some familiar names leave, nor what their salaries were. And we don't know what calibre their replacements will be.

Every year some of our most interesting signings come in December and January and we're not in November yet so it will probably be a fair while before we can assess the strength of the 2024 squad.

Strange that they have announced the signing but we haven't announced him as leaving. Clubs usually try to synchronise these announcements.

Tend to agree, a steady enough player, but can’t recall many lines breaks or having much of an influence on matches.
