Always thought Matthew Hayden (Aussie cricketer) had the physicality and attitude to have done it. An aggressive back row enforcer role

Any more?

I've filled the number 10 jersey if we want to get a 17 man squad

Dwain Chambers.

There was a big Australian lad who turned up at London Broncos a few years back, who could have been pretty decent if he'd had the application and work ethic.

Mark Carroll, I think his name was... :kolobok_wink:

George Best would have been a great scrum half I reckon

Related to that Andrew Symonds was supposed to be a really good prospect who might have switched to Brisbane Broncos at one point.

He played in a Legends of Origin match a few years ago for a flood relief charity and did not look out of place. The only giveaway that he wasn't a real Rugby League player was when he stopped himself from punching Benny Elias.

Mike Tyson would have been a scary enforcer prop in the olden days prior to multiple camera angles and match review panels.

Jamarr Chase and Justin Jefferson would be electric on the wing and spectacular finishers.

Patrick Mahomes is the most gifted athlete in any sport currently and grew up as a multi sport star. He has also got decent size to take the hits and the vision to be an all time great 6.

Jakob Ingebritsen is big for a distance runner and with his stamina he could probably adapt to be an all action back rower.

I would fancy a good coach to turn the Pole Vaulter Mondo Duplantis into a top centre/second row with short burst speed, off the charts athleticism and body control along with power.

He became good mates with Wayne Bennett who said you could make in RL but it’s too late to get to the top level so you should stick with cricket.

Geoff Capes, Mariusz Pudzianowski - both props

Ryan Giggs

Asafa Aumua - a running hooker in RU

Shane Horgan - big, strong wingman from a GAA background

Ciaran McDonald - classy left-footed Gaelic footballer for Mayo - he was majestic with his blond hair and range of passing off the foot

Former 2x Australian heavyweight boxer Jimmy “Thunder” Peau. He trained with a local Auckland league club back in the day as extra training & asked if he get a game & of course they jumped at his offer. He didn’t let anyone down, not much skill but hit the ball up at full ###### every time & was the same in defense. He played about 3 or 4 games before heading back to his camp in Oz. I’ve not doubt whatsoever that he would have cracked it in League.
