Clearly, you must be a Richard O'Brien scholar.

Wire offer the Giants an opportunity they fail to capitalise on.

I think that might be that, even after only 30 mins.

After all that Hudds pressure, Wire score another terrific breakaway, mainly down to Williams.

As somebody once said.

It is now.

I watched about an hour of yesterday’s game and turned this game on at 20 mins. Two awful semis for a neutral. And the crowd in this game looks woeful.

We do often have great adverts for the game. But this weekend isn’t one of them so far!

I think they have been two good games.

We obsess about close scores, what about some absolutely outstanding attacking rugby.

He doesn't do much though (c) @Harry Stottle

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Forward from Ashton, and ref missed it he was bang in line.

Yep, just joined and watching half-time highlights. Pass on that first try was a long way forward. It's easy to score if that rule isn't applied.

We want to recruit new fans to the game with high quality entertaining games. These two haven’t been high quality (as shown through the blow out scores) and they haven’t been close which keeps people interested. And they don’t look like events with crowds like today. Not every game can be a last minute thriller of course.

I would imagine if we saw viewing figures through the game they would drop off continuously through the game and prove my point. But doubt we’ll see them.

It was certainly forward in relation to the pitch but the law makes that irrelevant

So they comment that Giants have made lots of errors, while Warrington haven't, but then start the sequence with Warrington fluffing up some passes that leave a Giants player a really tricky chance to intercept ...

I get the momentum argument, but there are some where the receiver is ahead of the passer and past any defender even before the pass. That one was one of those, so blatant.

I really think you are over thinking this.  I am not talking about the crowd, we discuss that topic enough on here.

But on the pitch.  I would argue that the length of the field tries Warrington are scoring today are far more entertaining for the neutral than a last minute thriller.

Fair point on the crowd discussion!

I disagree with your second point, whilst I love a length of the field try, people switch off foregone conclusions and so don’t see the great tries.

Based on the scoreline I’ve already started switching between the semi-final and the final day of the prem league and I’m not even really a football fan.

Have these two been drinking prior to sitting down to commentate?

The BBC have a real lack of quality on their team.

Then he’s offside forward pass wouldn’t come into it.
