After another weekend of shocks in the championship three questions to those with a dog in the fight (or anyone else who's interested). How many points required to make 6th. How many points required for 11th? How many points required for 12th?

Just because you think everyone hates you doesn't mean they don't.

Hope you didn't think Fev losing wa a shock ? It wasn't, trust me.

Barrow was the one that jumped out. Regarding Fev, I'll bet the Donny fans on here would have bit your hand off for that result.

I think Fax will win 2 or 3 more games at most which puts them squarely in the frame for relegation. Our last game of the season is away to Haven which could be the decider as to who ends up in the playoff and who goes down automatically.

In 53 years of watching Fev 1st time I've seen us lose to Donny ( missed the 2013 defeat with illness) at home.

18 points should be enough to avoid relegation.

I think, only think mind, that Widnes might be safe.

This year's champ is the most competitive I've known it, in previous years normally 12pts was the magic number but now you're probably looking at 16pts and even that could just be to finish 3rd bottom and end up in the playoff game

Fatigue looking like it's catching up with a few sides now.

Us getting the win against an in form York is one of our best wins of the season IMHO York obviously had their entire spine missing, equally we've been crippled by injuries. But after playing Toulouse away (the Wakefield result shows what a great point that was for us) then backing that up to push Wakey hard the week after, I always felt this would be the game it would catch up with us. So to get the win is a huge two points for us.

I feel like putting my house on you beating us in the penultimate game of the season to secure your stay in the league!

One worry for Fax is, I don't think they have a lot of injuries so can't rely on the fact they'll get some bodies back and be better as a result. I know they had that awful luck of losing 3 of their best players in one game. Ones gone for the season but the other two are back I believe? So it's going to be a case of Finn getting a better performance from them or bringing in external signings.

Barrow are in the relegation play off with 12 points off 16 games currently. If you do 12x 26/ 16, you get 19.5, so I think probably 20 to be definitely safe.

OTOH, Fev's 50% win record currently has them in a playoff spot, so 26/27 points could be enough for 6th.

Going to be close for 12 and 13 spots.

Only Crooks back of the 3, AOB did come back for a game but has missed the last 2. Calcott done for the season and looking like Douglas may be the same with his thumb injury which has limited him to 2 or 3 games. Hard to recover from that really and our pack is powder puff and we have 3 of the best forwards in the comp missing its always going to hurt.

I know all teams have the distraction of players leaving but after yesterdays performance I would pay for Joe Keyes bus fair for him to go to Bradford now. His defense has always been poor but yesterday he was targetted by Widnes and it looks clear to me he is playing not to get injured, I will watch the game back but Id be amazed if he wasn't partly to blame in each Widnes try. His effort in Widnes second to last set to let them out of their 20 was especially embarassing.

And the other 11 defeats in competitive matches in that time? 😉

Ah, the mists of time. We lost at home to Doncaster in 2002, 2003 and 2005 as well as that 2013 loss. 😉

I don't recall them lol, must have put them away in a place  i don't use  now 😉 .

Saying this yesterday on the terraces, he’s done absolutely nothing since his leaving was announced, definitely stole his wage yesterday

Just checked old scores and by my reckoning (!) we haven't lost at home to them 11 times,i wasn't counting away games.

Not to divert the thread too much, but I *think* Doncaster have only won once at Widnes in 70 years, in 2001, against a team that included Widnes coach David Hulme bringing himself on as a sub five years after his previous game in a Widnes jersey.

However it’s been a tough season as a Fax fan. Whilst yesterday’s game was exciting, being 0-18 we simply gave ourselves too much to do. This is a recurring theme in many of our games.

They showed character to fight back but two costly penalties in the second half gave the momentum back to Widnes.

Struggling to see where the next win is coming from, I’m hoping we have enough in us to stay up. It would be an absolute disaster for us if we were to go down.

Been extremely hard for Donny over the years and these wins mean a lot to their loyal fans.

It would mean alot to me to see Trinity win at Post Office Rd. Been 5 times and each time we lost by less than 6pts going back to the mid 90's. Went to the CC game this season but missed the b***dy league match typical lol 🫣
