TBH Oxy has not been the greatest supporter of the club recently. Humble pie 🥧 now maybe!

Humble pie about what? I think I backed Fax to win and I still think that we have been appallingly ran since the new board has taken over. Nothing has changed on that front just because we won a game of rugby that I thought we had a chance in.

Highlights are now up and does not look to be any foul play in that last tackle before the fight and Halifax picking the ball up should the game be over and what happens after for the disciplinary to deal with? Does not look much in the fight although there is an accusation about racial abuse gone in against a Bradford player for whoever Tangata got involved with. Also just looking at it again Myers could be in trouble for contact with a match official, seen that be called for a lot less.

The tackle itself is fine, but maybe something happens on the floor afterwards? Can't really tell from the video. Certainly the touch judge is on pretty quickly.

I wonder whether Tangata was sin-binned for dissent? Complaining too vociferously about the alleged racist abuse?

Great win for Fax.  They could've used that spirit earlier this season.  They were more composed than Bradford who didn't capitalise on a bunch of chances.   Thought the young ref did ok considering players on both sides were winding each other up.  Souter lost his marbles more than once and Fax could've also lost a player for a professional foul when Holmes made a long break and was held down.

Great game at Sheffield, both teams played with a real intensity not normally seen at this level with York just the better side in the end. We really do look very good indeed at the moment, pace in everything we do. If we’d have played like this earlier in the season we’d have been comfortably 2nd now.

I’ve got to say, Sheffield shouldn’t really be allowed to play night games under those lights though, almost laughable how dark it was.

Thanks for posting that.

1. Halifax winning try was a terrific set move.

2. Agree that it's very difficult to see any foul play in the actual play leading to that penalty, I assumed someone had been hit late and/or high down by the touchline.

3. If the Bradford player just catches the ball from the final kick, they win the game. I wondered live whether Bradford had knocked on in the air, but looks pretty clear it is off Widdop and the Bulls really should have won it.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

It appears that may have been the case. The highlights don't show it but after the sendings off the officials have a long discussion and the ref then walks all the way down to the Fax bench and speaks to Tangata and then walks back up and after another discussion the captains are brought in and it is put on report.

In his post match interview Liam Finn alluded to getting rid of “bad people and backstabbers” and stated that form has taken an upswing since some players, presumably the backstabbers, have left.

We’ve certainly looked like we want to play for each other in the second half of the season

Surely the Eagles could buy some head torches for the players?

A shame that they couldn't have moved the floodlights from Don Valley, which were amazingly good.

Yeah quite a bit of understandable emotion coming out from LF during that interview. He certainly didn’t hold back.

You can’t see who or what started it but the TJ seems to be in a good position. The MRP will be relying on the reports from the MOs to a large extent

Myers should be in a lot of trouble based on previous similar incidents

Just seen the ending in the Fax Bradford game on U tube and in the final incident it looked like the Bradford players lost it with losing the game.Very little to penalise Fax for to the naked eye but you can't hear if anything was said. The penalty to Bradford was puzzling the ref signalled offside by a Fax player.Pele threw the ball back and it was caught by a Fax player behind him.If it did touch another Fax players as it was thrown back it should have been accidental offside not a penalty.

Just watched them. Got to love the Halifax commentator.
