Barrow playing at Wakefield at 6pm on a Saturday is nothing to complain about.

I recall Whitehaven playing at London midweek which involved players going to work, finishing shift then going straight to get on the lunchtime team bus before travelling, playing & then doing the reverse including going straight back to work and all for losing pay

We know what league they’re in. Just a typo that’s all Griff.

Are you a Barrow fan?

Walmsley broke downfield yesterday and Barrows opposite winger (maybe number 2) caught him from the other wing. He was very rapid. Though he didn’t stop the try that was some effort.

You can’t beat speed and that winger seemed to have a set of fast wheels.

It is totally unnecessary and the players do not earn enough to put those kind of expectations upon them.

Yet some posters think Salford's short turn around was unacceptable.

I would like to say merci to the BBC for radio Merseyside.

For you folks in the UK. You don't know what you have until it's gone.

Never a truer word said on here. Local RL radio on BBC is whittled down more and more every year but, when you catch it, it is still a brilliant listen across all of our regions - Merseyside, Manchester, Leeds, Cumbria and Humberside.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

What would we do without Andy Atkinson on the days we can’t be there in person,  he is the next best thing.

I find radio Humberside the most entertaining. The Hull clubs never play bad and hardly ever lose, even if the score says otherwise. However not listened this season but I bet their 'loyalty' was stretched to its limits with Hull FC

I agree about the Whitehaven / London part but Barrow playing Wakefield at 6pm on a Saturday isn’t that big of a deal and Barrow would have had to agree to the date and time

Gambling on a win against Widnes being good enough? Risky strategy. Survival is out of their own hands now.

Widnes will be struggling to name 17 fit players again, so Barrow will be strong favourites. Be so ironic if all those injuries Widnes picked up against Alan Kilshaw's Swinton end up costing Swinton a few weeks later, although I can't see any Championship team losing a home game against League 1 opposition to be actually relegated.

Sounds like an absolutely bonkers finish at the Shay. Fax win 14-10 with Bradford having 1 final play about 5 minutes after a post-hooter brawl.

That's Whitehaven down, isn't it? They'd need a 240 points difference swing on the final round to overtake Swinton.

Yep. Swinton and Barrow playing for the play off match. Realistically though looks like being Swinton.

Pleased for Oxy he has not had much to smile about recently.

I suspect he may derive a little mild satisfaction from that result...

Especially after Bradford got their begging buckets out of storage to loan to their near bankrupt neighbours. Not rolling over to the mighty bulls was disrespectful

Don't you worry about the buckets uncle Nige has plenty spares.

Made a late decision to go to the Shay and it was an absolutely stonking game, it had absolutely everything. I've not the foggiest what happened at the end but the game was terrific entertainment. Bradford must have dropped the ball over the line six times in the game.
