Yeah I probably just typed it fast not paying attention. I think as everyone knows York and wakey aren’t in SL they’d be able to work out what I meant 😅

24-0 to Wakey at halftime. Barrow's backs are up for it but being let down by their forwards. Fair play to Barrow they haven't given in and when they get the ball their throwing it about. Brad Walker looks their best player. Still Wakefield dominating, think Barrow have only one set in our half so far.

Agree with the Biscuit place and York but funny live Barrow myself

Enjoyed seeing Fev's place last time.... Really interesting how they reconstructed the stand!

I would like to say merci to the BBC for radio Merseyside.

For you folks in the UK. You don't know what you have until it's gone.

Barrow have rested half the team from the win over Haven so decent effort

Gambling on a win against Widnes being good enough? Risky strategy. Survival is out of their own hands now.

The chances of beating a Widnes team at home (who have lost their last 3 now) are a LOT higher than going to Wakefield and turning them over though, aren’t they?

So, do you go full strength and risk losing several more players for next week? Or do you take a calculated risk, give some of your better players an extra weeks rest and let others recover from niggles and knocks?

Personally, for me, it’s the right call

Understandable what you are saying. Genuine question whilst you are on. Not saying it made any difference. But who in their right mind thinks it’s a good idea to make Barrow travel to Wakefield on a Saturday for a 6pm kick off? Unless unbeknown to me the Barrow club agreed to it.

The RFL of course! It was always meant to be played on a Saturday for some reason, the only thing that’s changed is the kick off time was originally 7.30

Ok thank you. I think it is disgraceful to expect a part time team to travel all that way for a 6pm Saturday kick off. Then get back home after midnight at best. Absolute madness.

I've been to Cumberland and Barrow several times midweek. Never complained. Never thought it was disgraceful. Never thought it was absolute madness.

Saturday night. 🙄  Just lig in on Sunday morning for heavens sake.

I can't see the big deal, Barrow usually do have a long way to travel for most away games, roads are pretty quiet too on Saturday evening.

After all it's much better than travelling to Toulouse for a 6pm Saturday game.

The original poster may have had a point in 1911, but…

I recall Barrow had a couple of spells playing on Friday nights.   Around 1989 and 2008.
