Got a feeling Fev will pull one out of the bag here to face Trinity in Semi.

Quite possible, but whoever wins, I reckon these two will knock seven bells out of each other

Yes, pretty even and could go either way. Certainly going to be a scrap this one.

Can't see Fev winning this, the way they're playing this season.  Shame really if there's one RL side I really hate it's the Bulls.  I'd be tempted to make the 180 mile round trip, but after the reports of Bradford's treatment of Fev supporters last time out I don't think I'll bother.  Good luck Fev. We could do with having Rugby League Raw back.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

I guess you missed the 5 or so Featherstone fans running into the Bulls end to fight with Bulls fans which resulted in the segregation and also the racist chanting that Fev received a fine for last season.

Let's blame Bradford instead though

No other club is segregated at Odsal

You are the game caller and i claim my £5, honestly how any Fev fan can give Bradford money is beyond me. It's always Fevs fault when we play Bradford- must be nice having perfect fans lol.

The truth hurts eh but Fev have a very bad element of D<@k heads that spoil your faithful fans maybe you should get your house in order and snuff out this right wing order!

Yours hopefully

I heard that last time Bradford forced the Fev fans to stand on the terraces at Odsal. Very poor treatment.

Unlike Mick I actually look at the facts

Bulls fans aren't perfect but some Fev fans seem to think the above is okay and that's it the Bulls fault for reporting it.

Every club is susceptible to having behavior issues with fans when they see a bit of success and attract more spectators, some for the wrong reasons. Fev have certainly had some issues with this in recent years (though the troublemakers have largely disappeared along with the dwindling gates this year), and Bradford certainly aren't immune either, judged on their own supporters' reports of bottle-throwing at Halifax the other week - the incident referred to in the second link in the post above was done to death by Bradford's in-house commentator and interviewer, which really stirred the pot with their fanbase, but he appears not have commented at all on the alleged bottle-throwing incident.

So maybe let's get back to the game. Bradford will start favourites and rightly so, they have an especially strong pack and with their sprinkling of ex-NRL players on paper they're the second-strongest team in the league, though they do still seem capable of implosion under pressure.

I think a lot of people don't really realise quite how much of a transition year this has been for Fev but we really were in a grim situation at the start of the year by all accounts although the future reportedly looks a lot brighter now judged on Ford's recent interviews. A lot of Fev fans have been very gloomy about this season, unsurprisingly given our success in previous years, and we have certainly produced four or five shocking performances, but we did at least make the play-offs. Not expecting much on Sunday to be honest but the team has pulled off one or two surprise wins this year as well and for once the pressure will be on our opponents rather than us in a play-off game. It's certainly nice for a change to see one or two neutrals keen to see us win a play-off game!

Overall, on form you'd expect Bradford to be a bit too strong for us down the middle and in any case Fev's attack has been woefully short of fluency, but hoping for an upset.

The Bulls stewards wouldn’t let a fan’s coach park in the ground’s parking area. They were forced to park a few hundred metres away this made it difficult for the 2 wheel chair users to access the game and was quite petty imho. Also there was  no food available for Featherstone fans (alcohol was) and the kids supporting Featherstone were not allowed to use the fairground rides just over the barrier tape where we were standing.

Just a reminder.

Any other issues need to be discussed separately. Start another thread if you must.

The moderator of the forum has just made a very reasonable point. Let's not get this thread locked , eh?

Both squads have been named. Bradford prefer Sammut to Gaskell and looks like the only injury doubt for them is Doro, otherwise they look pretty close to their best 17.

Fev still have Danny Addy suspended, which I suspect will be a relief to Tom Holmes after the league encounter at Odsal. We can only name 20 players and it's not hard to name the three who won't play, unless we have any injuries from last weekend's game. Bradford 4-9 favourites with the sponsors, which looks about right to me

Thanks for your support. Much appreciated.

Not everyone is listening to me though.

I've just binned off a load more off-topic stuff.

I won't lock the thread, but I will bin off any further comments that aren't about the actual game, so anyone who isn't paying attention to this will be wasting their time typing as their words will soon disappear into the ether...

Good, pragmatic analysis as usual. There's a chance we could win but I feel like the club have drawn a line under this year given the turmoil and zero chance of reward for winning. Bradford by 16-20 is my guess although it's a child size pitch so could be close.

Hopefully Bradford host the game more appropriately than they have in the recent past.

Zero chance of reward for winning? if we play Wakefield Fev should come out of the game win  or lose with at least 30k as a share of the gate.Split it with the players give them a grand each bonus if we win at Bradford.Better than last year against London when half the team were told they would not be required. If we play like we did against Toulouse at home we can't lose less effort than that and a Bradford win looks likely.

Yes but you can't put a price on the chance of playing on that hallowed turf against the mighty Trin. So just go for it 😉🤣👍

I went to my first match at Belle Vue in 1955 and went to school near the ground so know it well.
