It is my understanding that he's trying to get a consortium together. I'm not sure how advanced or otherwise with it, but let's hope he succeeds and soon.

The extension , as you say , would appear to be due to the length of time taken to complete the due dilligence , and if that can also give MJ time to find other investors then all well and good . I guess time will tell . Well we're into April. Has time told us anything yet? Asking for a friend. This world was never meant for one as beautiful as me. Hi WWW , MJ still completing final due dilligence checks , has another person on board to help now as well , and should go through by the end of the month (hopefully). 1

He has been in total control of the running of the club well over 6 months. Who is he doing the due diligence on , himself ?

Maybe so , but you don't know what the situation is , or do you ? MJ had some concerns surrounding the participation of Salford at the beginning of the season , and this was one of the resons why there was an extension until April for the completion of the sale . MJ has since said there are a few things still to be checked and confirmed , but he now has a second person on board to help him going forward . At the last 'Meet The Directors' evening , all was going as planned for an April takeover . Edited April 4 by Taffy Tiger
LeeF Posted April 4 Posted April 4 Maybe he is waiting for the outcome of the current review as why would you invest any further funds when the way forward is unknown.

Les Tonks Sidestep Posted April 14 Posted April 14 Apparently now pushed back to July. Some complex due diligence going on there.....

Wonder if it's more likely that the new owners are having second thoughts if Cas are going to be summarily kicked out of the league? 3
Agbrigg Posted April 14 Posted April 14 Maybe this, maybe that ,everyone making excuses for the bloke. Well maybe right from the outset the facts were obvious. He has told everyone he needs investment partners, which translates to , 'I haven't the funds to do this'. 1
