It is my understanding that he's trying to get a consortium together.

Maybe so , but you don't know what the situation is , or do you ?

MJ had some concerns surrounding the participation of Salford at the beginning of the season , and this was one of the resons why there was an extension until April for the completion of the sale .

MJ has since said there are a few things still to be checked and confirmed , but he now has a second person on board to help him going forward . At the last 'Meet The Directors' evening , all was going as planned for an April takeover .

Maybe he is waiting for the outcome of the current review as why would you invest any further funds when the way forward is unknown.

I wonder if this is a fallout from the Salford shambles, RFL have maybe tightened up on the strictness of their rules.

Maybe this, maybe that ,everyone making excuses for the bloke.  Well maybe right from the outset the facts were obvious.He has told everyone he needs investment partners, which translates to , 'I haven't the funds to do this'.
