Uninteresting Trivial Facts

I think I may have overdosed on Ambridge. Less than a week to go now.

I feel the same about BBC3's Being Human, someone gave me lent me series 1-3 box set, I watched series 1 & 2 but Sky+ series 3 intending to watch it this weekend while the missus, who doesn't like it, is away. I sat and watched all 3 series without watching anything else. I feel Annie, George, Mitchell and Nina are closer to me than family.

Just spent the day cycling up and down Rivington (not up to the pike though!). Knackered but what a cracking day. First real trip out on the bike since my accident and now really want to get a road bike.

Do it Sev.

Some of the nomadic herdsmen whom have pitched their tents a little to the south of my accomodation, have brought camels with them, which make a pleasant change from goats. :)

After re-fitting the rebuilt motor for me, and fitting the new chain guards and mounting rubbers I'd sourced from Germany, my mate took my 1959 Jawa for an MOT yesterday morning and it passed with no problems.

I've taxed it online, so it's finally back on the road again after almost 5 long years and it's running better than ever. I can't wait to get home and take it out again, as it's a lovely little machine to ride, has some wonderful art deco styling and never fails to put a smile on my face.

I am not a bike person but I do like the look of that.

Nice bike Haloman..... The day I learn how to play the motorbike I will choose one like that.

Back in Blighty to see the hypnotherapist last week and those nice people at Hertz upgraded me FOC to a Fiat 500 Abarth.

May the Lord have mercy. What a silly car. Not only did I look as if I'd been extruded into it but it goes like the proverbial off a shovel. Great fun to drive a go kart for four days. The hand gestures by various other road users as I burbled along were most appreciated

I am watching Mal (king kong) Kirke from Fev v Wade Bridges (world heavyweight champ) from Gillinghan on Men and Motors. 6 x 5 minute rounds reffed by Peter Jay and commentary by Kent Walton.

Quality telly

And so the future begins...

Another quality channel broadcast from Bedford.

In other news, I got 2 mentions on Radcliffe and Maconie today. It's been a slow work day.

With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!

First job of the day done; repair the washing machine. All it took was £20 worth of new carbon brushes for the motor. Good as new.

Next doors cat uses our garden as a toilet/sunbathing spot, but has spent almost the last hour sat on the ground looking at the waist high gate waiting for one of us to come and open it for him! Well he's got a long, long wait, as I'm not going out to water my plants until it gets cooler, and he will be very hungry by then, the lazy B-stud
