Another update for you:

BREAKING NEWS - Tuchel, not Guardiola, signs contract to become the new England boss!

He’s quite a touchy character by all accounts and he better be ready for the criticism that comes with the England job.

Well, now that Thomas Tuchel is to be the new England team manager, does this mean Toni Kroos will be Captain? 😄

Bernard Manning lives! Welcome to be New RFL, the sport's answer to the Wheeltappers and Shunters Social Club.

Tactically there's not many better than him but he's not supposed to be a good man manager. He's also grumpy with the press. Doesn't seem like a good fit at all since that's a big part of being England manager.

Well I've just got back from Beverley Town where we were playing Albion Sports from Bradford and...

WHAT A WIN FOR THE BEAVERS!! 3-0 against the top of the table team!! Probably the best game I've ever seen down Norwood Park!! (aside from the playoff win last year).

BEAVERS!! BEAVERS!! 🦫 🦫 🦫 🦫 🦫

The Mail respond to the appointment by being very definitely not the horrific racists people keep thinking they are because of all the mountains of evidence.

I love Henning! I went to see him when he played the small local community theatre a few years back as a warm up gig to his main tour. When I met him after the gig I told him I love Germany and could speak German (which is true) and he replied in German with something I didn't have the faintest idea what it was and when I just replied with, "what?" and a stupified look on my face it made him laugh his head off and he just said, "oh so you're one of those learners are you?" Never did find out what he'd said to me... 🤔😂

This is what I mean when I say that no one really gets just how disgusting the press is - and how impossible the job is - until someone else pops up in the firing line.

If an Englishman got the job there would be another line of attack - but a line of attack there would be, and it would be equally remorseless and personal.

Capello, Eriksson....

English coach Anthony Barry will be Tuchel's assistant.

Plus the claim that Tuchel is grumpy with the press earns him extra points with me.

Plus the FA have played, for them, an absolute blinder.

Interviews ongoing without being leaked and the contract signed, per reports today, on 8th October.

If you disagree with foreign managers managing the national team, in football or RL, I can understand that. After 2 foreign managers previously though it does feel that boat has sailed now.

However there does seem to be an added edge and to this simply because he is German which is just pathetic

With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!

I wonder will England fans stop singing 10 German Bombers and Two world wars now. Somehow I don't think so..

They’ve got a new one for him.

Far too easy for the Beavers tonight! Beverley thrashed Goole 5-0 in a game that was the definition of a game of two halves. Goole dominated the first half with the vast majority of the possession and territory and Beverley only scoring on the stroke of halftime.

However when the teams came out for the second half you'd have thought Goole were a team of school boys or something, absolutely clueless and Beverley ran away with it. 5 goals from 5 different goal scorers and it could have easily been a lot more.

Up to 9th in the NCEL Premier now, the highest Beverley have ever been in the football pyramid in their entire history!

FYI, PSG drew with PSV last night, LOL.

Vinicius Jr is pretty special. We won't see him in the Premier League, which is a shame, as he seems to be happy to stay in Spain despite being racially abused on a regular basis.

"I am the avenging angel; I come with wings unfurled, I come with claws extended from halfway round the world. I am the God Almighty, I am the howling wind. I care not for your family; I care not for your kin. I come in search of terror, though terror is my own; I come in search of vengeance for crimes and crimes unknown. I care not for your children, I care not for your wives, I care not for your country, I care not for your lives." - (c) Jim Boyes - "The Avenging Angel"

BBC Scotland are about to show a club they've just introduced as the lowest ranked ever to be shown live on Scottish TV. It's tier 9 (in Scotland!) Threave Rovers at home to Stranraer in the Scottish Cup.

I didn't even know there was 9 tiers in Scotland! The depth of football in the UK never ceases to amaze me, such a massive sport!
