JDINTHEHIZZOUSE
After recently being lucky enough to have been given a few books by a rather excellent yet unknown paranormal writer who goes by the name of tom slemen,I was reminded of something from my youth that occurred at night when taking a shortcut home via the canal path in Leigh. Now,I wont bore you fine people with my own personal experience, but admittedly,it was odd and left me questioning whether things like ghosts and suchlike really exist, which in turn left me wondering if anybody else has had such experiences,or even believe in these things...... clwydianrange
I've not seen anything as such but a few folks who I know and trust have had experiences that defy logic. I certainly believe them.
Bearman
No. Odd things happen and may be difficult to explain but ghosts are for the gullible. Ron Banks Midlands Hurricanes and Barrow
Phil
I was a member of a paranormal investigation team a few years ago. Most "hauntings" are people scaring themselves but there were about half a dozen things we couldn't explain, please note WE couldn't explain, they may well be explainable. bowes
I've seen poltergeist activity before. The impression I got in both cases was that people were somehow psychically moving objects without realising rather than a dead person moving them
Robin Evans
I went to a spiritualist church once and the speaker "came to me". I had not spoken a word on entering the church and no one knew me at all. What came next i cannot explain and could not possibly have been autosuggestive. The stuff the speaker came out with was very accurate. All it proves is i dont know how she did it. "I love our club, absolutely love it". Northern Eel
I would love to believe in this sort of thing and for some time found it highly intriguing. Don't laugh at me, but it was that prat Derek Acorah who changed all that. He single handedly turned me off any further notion of hauntings being plausible, nor any medium being trustworthy come to think of it. I was gullible; very gullible. There's too much left to coincidence for my money, but I really wouldn't be surprised if I was ever to be proven totally wrong. Nowadays, I can't see beyond that terrific episode in Phoenix nights, with psychic Clinton Baptiste. Enjoy...

heartofGold
Can't say I have experienced anything myself. Closest I can think of is my sister (Sally) who went to some sort of clairvoyant years ago when married to her first husand. The woman said she could see three children, two boys and a girl. Sally explained she and husband didnt want children and she must be seeing my three children. The woman said no these children were living with her. Anyway none of it really made any sense and it was recorded on a tape which she took home and threw in a drawer. She found the tape some 15 years later having forgotten all about it and played it. The tape then made perfect sense. There were some uncanny accuracies to her current situation including the three children her new partner had brought with him (two boys and a girl). Coincidence I think. I havent really got any time for ghosts and the supernatural. In the blink of an eye it could all be taken away. Be grateful always. I think its slightly more likely mediums are psychically picking something up from living people than directly contacting the dead but I'm not certain
JohnM
Out local clairvoyant had to cancel a recent performance "owing to unforseen circumstances" Its a bit like religion- mumbo jumbo nonsense that people have some deep rooted need to belive in, even though it's patently absurd. My wife used to have client that was a well known clairvoyant. She would always have to rearrange meetings as "something had come up" I would have liked to know more about her because she made a serious amount of money and was often flown off first class to do readings around the world. The next time someone with "special" powers proves it under rigorous scrutiny will be the first time. Dave T
Always enjoyed Derren Brown's earlier stuff and stage shows where he debunks spiritual readers and stuff. He was always far more accurate than the clairavoyants.

shrek
Everytime I work at my wifes shop which is in a building a couple of hundred years old that used to house a morgue my memory card seems to move itself around of its own free will. I'm more than happy to blame this on the paranormal rather than my advancing years!
Mark S
There is a poltergeist in my house that moves everything I put down into a random drawer or cupboard, it's weird. The strangest thing is that every house I have lived in over the last 5 years has had the same poltergeist. It must really hate my cycling gear as it always moves it in the garage.
