Conspicacy Theirists (Nutters)

Recommended Posts

At work I sit opposite a bloke who trawls the internet looking at conspiracy theories, he continually asks me to explain how we can prove that man has been to the moon, when there is a large body of "evidence" that we didn't. Next he asks questions  about why the flat earth nutters view is actually viable.

Should these people be locked up .

Why would you want to lock me up...what did I ever do to you?  I am beginning to become increasingly worried that I might have an anxiety problem!

Chemtrails, 9/11, black flag shootings, moon landings, flat earth, climate change denial... all nutters.

With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!

It's always amazing the amount of solid evidence that they're prepared to ignore in favour of the flimsy evidence that they're prepared to believe.

I followed the Pizzagate theory on YT from birth to peak and it was alarming how quickly it grew and how staunchly people ignored every piece of debunking evidence.

There is an Australian woman who claims to have been a victim of an OZ pedophile ring involving a couple of PMs and Richard Nixon and the father of a famous actor. Part of her story is that children were transported along a secret underground rail line from Sydney to the NSA base at Pine Gap near Alice Springs. I have asked a few believers how anyone builds a 2,000km underground railway without anyone noticing and apparently this means I'm a pedophile too.

On the bright side, it's good to know that we have the engineering skill and logistical capacity to build a 2,000km underground railway in complete silence and secrecy, including our disposal of all the waste material, and complete it within 10 years. Up yours, Switzerland!

Which puts them in the same boat as TGG fans about every Ref, Brexit leave voters Tory supporters and ru fans.

The thing about conspiracy theories is the underlying truth that governments tell lies, misrepresents and hide things all the time.

This will always be a seedbed for illogical connections, half-learned ideas and spurious leads.

More true since t'interweb than ever.

And having a go at them while being just as guilty of saying "That ref never never gives us nowt!" is pot, kettle and black stuff.

The RFL favours Yorkshire clubs,

John Drake doesn't like my posts.

The list goes on and on!

Some conspiracies are real like the JFK assassination and 9/11. The fact that governments lie all the time doesn’t help.

Depending on the depths of your 9/11 skeptism, I shall refrain from suggesting you are a nutter...

I seriously have a hard time believing the governments story and the 9/11 report. Granted I’ll give you that there’s lots of crazy theories about 9/11 but the one that got me started was WTC7 and the magic passport.

I use Hillsborough as a rule of thumb.  Did people spot there was a big cover up there?  It is amazing how many believe the Chemtrails, 9/11, black flag shootings, moon landings, flat earth, climate change denial, but accepted the GOvernment report on Hillsborough.

I've watched a few clips on Youtube of "9/11 as it happened live" taken from the various news networks throughout the US.

I know it's easy to say with hindsight and it must have been a difficult breaking news story to cover as the drama unfolded, but some of the comments did not display a great deal of thought.

With the first tower in flames, on one channel they were discussing with an eyewitness what might have happened to the fuselage and wings of the passenger jet as they didn't come out the other side of the building. As they were discussing this the second passenger jet hit the other tower. The eyewitness screamed that there had been another explosion, seemingly without seeing the other jet. The news presenter in the studio then said that the second explosion must have been the fuel tanks from the first jet eventually igniting from the heat of the fire inside the first tower.

He must feel very safe when flying as he seemed to think jet aircraft were just about indestructible.

I’ve seen the very same “live as it happened” clips on YouTube from the various different cable news stations and what always strikes me and to be honest makes me feel sick to my stomach is seeing the 2nd hijacked plane appearing out of nowhere approaching and being flown into the south tower while the news anchors are talking about the north tower and how calm and nonchalant they are about the 2nd explosion.

To be fair to the news anchors we had never seen anything thing like this happen and unfold before our very eyes and it must have been chaos but it’s still very eerie to watch even to this day.

To be fair we always had eyewitnesses to the event and family members of the victims who kept the tragedy in the news and who demanded justice for the victims.

This woman must have been reading this thread, or maybe she was sent here (via me) by the Illuminati to muddy the waters. Maybe I'm part of the Illuminati. If I am, what's holding up the cheques?
